@TheNitrodrifter Sorry, cus I don't know much about it.. When you say tuning, do you mean gearing the car differently or actually changing then engine and stuff?
quiet a good car but if you buy a cheaper car and tune it by yourself it is more fun. I have a 130 € 4wd truggy tuned with 8T Brushless and new springs. new tires and paint will follow.
Out of the ones you listed the E-Revo Brushless without a doubt. But you have to remember, it's also over double the price of the others you listed. A competitor of the E-Revo Brushless is the Savage Flux, both are using the same motor and ESC. It depends on what you are want to do. IF you want better handling get the E-Revo. If you want a more durable truck go for the Savage Flux.
The 1/16th Revo isn't out yet and has no set release.
The Rustler VXL has a little advantage over the Firestom
I am gettin my 1/16 E-Revo within the next week or so. Good choice....the minis are awesome little trucks....or from the vids and comments they sound like awesome little trucks.
ruster vxl it much faster but firestorm flux is more durable and it has all metal gears. check hpi racing website it shows the gear inside the firestorm
I have this car but I swear its trying to kill me!!!
Any solutions please???

@hokieman97 I have a flux and officialy not, but it can handle some water drops.
But still, not the best thing to do.
TOMTEC123 1 year ago
@hokieman97 they have a new updated firestorm flux that is waterproof and has a more powerful motor and esc combo.

shokwave666 2 years ago
hey
it all depends on your motor and esc?
with the sidewinder there running it can be a 2s lipo or anything below 8.4v nimh or nicd.

Go for the 1/16th scale Slash. The 1/16th scale Slash is waterproof while the 1/16th E-Revo isn't fully waterproof.

What about teh slash?
Oneiva 2 years ago
For the price the Slash isn't bad. And in racing there is a spec Slash class that is really taking off.
