  • @JOHNCONNELLPEDOGROUP don't judge him with your modern standard about thr ill of smoking he was a movie star of the 60's and 70's when smoking was not seen as bad as it is today

  • Sheryl Crow song about him was cool

  • Too bad Steve died so young.

    Long live the KOOLER KING!

  • I am English. I have English heroes: Shakespeare, Nelson, Keith Richards, Charlie Chaplin. But Steve defies nationality by topping the list.

  • Excellent video, may you rest in eternal peace Steve.

  • Steve Mcqueen and Paul Newman enough said. RIP to the both of them.

When Men were real men and the real shit mattered.

  • YOU ARE BULLITT , BEST ACTOR EVER

  • RIP Steve

  • excellent acteur

  • A LEGENDARY ICON!!!!! GREAT VIDEO,LOVED HIM IN PAPILLION.

  • mustang 1:58

  • ....forefer...forever in our hearts.........

  • Steve McQueen and Lee Marvin...................the coolest dudes ever.

    God Rest, boys, God Rest.

  • this is awesome, ty

  • The undeniable King of Cool, we need another McQueen to turn good movies into

Great one's. Still to this day there has been only one Steve McQueen...

  • Steve McQueen - He Is The Man!

  • thx 4 uploading

    this guy is amazaing

  • 1.03 what movie?

  • 0:44 what movie?

  • @Killerkalle06

    The Thomas Crown Affair (1968)

  • What a guy. Thanks for posting. Which film is at 1.06? Thx

  • World´s best actor and stuntman off all times.. He makes dem boys look bad... Steven Mc Queen truly a hero and missed dearly....

  • Good job!

  • Steve McQueen.. Coolest guy ever. Think of all the fun he must've had doing his own stunts.. Actors today worry they might twist an ankle if they have to jump one feet down. Steve wouldn't have thought twice about it if he had to jump ten feet :) He would've gone right for it !! Where are the tough ones today? Being animated in a computer :p Thanks for sharing btw..

  • he look like Daniel Graig :S

  • no, daniel craig looks a little like Steve McQueen@jamesthered123

  • Thank you for this beautiful tribute =)

    I love the pictures <3 5*

  • Мой любимый актер!

  • Mcqueen will never die the man lived two lifetimes in one......not to mention the legacy he left all of us and he was a brave man unlike most of the "clothes hangers" we have onscreen nowadays.

  • By the way I think Mark Wahlberg would be the best McQueen because Steve was extremely hard-edged in real life, and so is Wahlberg when he wants to be. Pitt and Wahlberg have a fantastic physique, which they will need to play Steve, who was an amazing physical specimen to the day he died.

  • There's a Steve McQueen bio movie in the works based on the book "Steve McQueen, Portrait of an American Rebel" by author Marshall Terrill. Buy the book and be ready because the movie will be incredible!

  • What a hunk! Miss you McQueen. Wonder if Brad Pitt will ever recreate his roles or do his life story.

  • Bratt Pitt is talented actor, but MCQueen is God on screen.

  • thx 4 uploading my alltime hero !!

  • he,s my altime hero to he ownes the screen i like all his movies he is the god of movie and the king of cool:)

  • nice choice of music, I was born 16 aftr his death and I love the great escape. seemed like an awesome actor first time i saw him. Shame how we went out. At least it wasn't as dramatic as Michael Jackson

  • he died because he was too damn cool

  • @savioroftitans Yes--he died of Kool(s).....actually.

  • @savioroftitans Steve McQueen 1930 - 1980

makes him only 50 years old when he died.

What did Steve McQueen die of at only 50 years

    old?

  • He smoked himself to death ! Every year, almost 500,000 people die in the USA from smoking. Great actor though.............

  • @1CATALDO Granted, his smoking didn't make him healthier but the official cause of death was from Mesothelioma, a cancer caused from exposure to asbestos..........even my own father died at just 54 from Emphysema without ever smoking a cigarette, however, I imagine both were probably counted within that number to keep the propaganda against tabacco appear all the more damning, if not entirely true

  • ...and the asbestos thing was throughout his life, from stripping military vehicles in the marines to the lining of his protective gear when racing. The stuff seemed to follow him around his whole life.

  • Steve didn't die of cancer, he died while in a "Recovery Centre" in Mexico of a blood clot after his cancer had gone into remission.

  • I thought he died from a leak of asbestos on a ship?

  • hes a legend he wil live in my heart many years he wil always be my number one actor

  • What kind of cancer did he die from?

  • a rare form of lung cancer probably caused from brake asbestos dust from his days messing around with cars.

  • Smoking cancer.

  • Steve Mc Queen worked for years in the big sound stages in L.A./ Hollywood. asbestos was used for sound proofing and other purposes. it wasnt until the early 70's that we began to understand the threat of asbestos and its relationship

to cancer. that more than his love of bikes and cars played a greater role in his development of cancer. yea the sound stages were just full of asbestos!

  • Smoking didn't help.

  • Comment removed

  • he died from mesothelioma (not lung cancer!) - it is caused by asbestos exposure and is not associated with smoking

  • great man

  • awesome compilation. Thanks.

  • i think he epitomized American cool

  • Oh Steve (sigh).......

  • very good actor!!

  • Bravo!! from another italian...ciao

  • Greatest actor ever, PERIOD

  • the good always die young:(

  • thank steve! from another italian fan.

  • THE GREATE ESCAPE is wonderful...thank Steve by italian fan

  • Nelle Mcqueen and Ali Mcgraw what 2 fine piece of asses they were!!!!!!!(and still are!) You know that Natalie Wood (hottie) once threw herself at steve and wanted him in the sack soo bad and steve said no!! HOW COOL IS HE! HE could (and did) have anygirl he wanted RIP BUDDY!

  • NO Actor NO celebrity TO THIS DAY is as cool as Steve (the king of cool) Mcqueen was. RIP BUDDY.

  • very touching video, a great tribute to one of the last real actors in the world.

  • Todays actors dont make the grade , your never see the likes of McQueen, Lee Marvin again

  • you are so f'in right! I'd like to slap down the lil' punks. Remember when if you were like James West ( BEFORE he had to be a negro), you were..( a word you don't/can't use or find anymore - "manly". Will Smith is a nice guy, but why can't we have a white hero anymore?

  • There is no one like him today. He was truly the King of Kool.

  • he was so cool he wasn't that old when he died either i wish he was still alive today.

  • great vid of my hero! proper hard bastard! your the best mcqueen!

  • When I watch films with McQueen / Brando / Eastwood / K.Douglas / Heston / Burton, ect...it reminds me of how we are not even men anymore, what hapened to us? We need to reclaim what we lost...r.i.p....McQueen, you raised a bar we all aspire to.

  • I agree and I live to aspire to it every damn day.

"I live for myself and I answer to nobody." - Steve McQueen

  • I couldn't agree more! Think of today's "stars"...Tom Crise...Brad Pitt...Johnny Depp...they are all litle boys compared to the real men of the past cinema. When the stars of the past were in their 30's they were more mature and manly to those in their 40's today.

  • Great tribute to a great actor

  • Well done! Good variety.

  • What a wonderful tribute to the great actor, Steve McQueen! The music is from the 1963 movie, The Great Escape. Excellent!
