Ah wolf:et, not played this in years. One of the first PC FPS i played when i managed to get round to building a computer capable of handling it (even though it wasn't really system intensive). Nice vid.

@loltozable nope, I find it harder to aim stable if I change my sens all the time.

try playing on the RC servers you may be good in the server your in now but in the RC servers you would probably die a lot

i get 125 solid fps on max graphics in quake live but cant even keep a steady 90 fps in et , mabey u upgraded some hardware, which is 2 new for et? do u no why you cant get stable 90 anymore? i no ppl say we cant c more than 60 anyways, but i kill faster with it over 125. i can really tell the diffrence. just like picmip, i find picmip 3 takes like 1/2 second longer to kill people but i also live 1/2 second longer, where on picmip 1 i die faster but also kill quicker, ever happen to u ?

thx, i just bought the deathadder 3500 dpi, im really used to high dpi, been playin this way for years, but ill change it to 450 because everyone is saying lower is beter.

@southcomft well higher DPI makes it supposebly more accurate but in ET the more DPI you have the worse your mouse movement gets (over 800 dpi, the faster you move it the more it slows your mouse down), so keep it under 400 (or 450 when you can). I myself use the 1800dpi DA on 450 and it works quite well, the only problem I have that I can't maintain FPS anymore. The time I fragged for this movie I had 125 stable on all maps, now I can't get even 90 stable.

@Flarega someone just told me that its better to use the highest dpi and lower the sensitivity in game, otherwise your letting software do what hardware should be doing. to me that is the most logical answer, but really dont have a clue. i thought when u riase the dpi, u move the mouse shorter distances, so ur not moving it as fast? also, deathadder is optical not lazer so i dont think it has a problem keeping up with how fast i move. just assuming lol.

i find "palm" more steady aim but harder to flick around and "finger" easy to flick around but harder to aim?

use palm then... dpi 400 is best, sensitivity is all about your own taste, but good thing is that raziels sensitivity thing... that ctf_multi thing... search here :D..when coming to mouse, just read reviews and pick there which one is good for you, and ofcourse find good mousepad with that

@southcomft for mouse use MX518 or Razer DeathAdder (both at 500hz and lowest DPI possible). I use Claw grip instead of palm or finger, it's sort of a hybrid. You can move the mouse delicately with your fingertips but still have the steady tracking as palmgrip.

like my core 2 duo 2ghz = 4ghz but et only reginizes 2ghz so it would be beter to have an older 4ghz cpu thats not duel core to use all of the 4ghz?

i was almost as good when i was 14 - 17, after 4 years staying up all night playing this game, then i got bored, then depressed now i tottaly suck, i was ADDICTED to this game.
