  • Oh sure. Ignore the awesome 30 seconds of Miku booting up, and keep noticing that tiny little typo.

  • HATUNE MIKU = epic fail :/

  • × Hatune Miku

    × Hatsune Miku

    ○ 初音ミク

  • HAAA it's good !

  • LOL YOU GUYS HAVE A WEIRD ASS FETISH LOLOLOLOL

  • @coreyownz I know!

  • @coreyownz butt fetish? ew... no. O-O butt fetishs have nothing to do with this video.

  • @coreyownz Fail.

  • 0:32 in her eye... Hatune Miku? xD

  • I can see why they used this song as her sample song. They made her vocals sound so perfect and beautiful. This is the only song I can think of that manipulates Hatsune Miku's voice perfectly, making her sound natural, but sweet.

  • Since i can't post link in comment... a full version can be found on megaupload

    put /?d=WDL93MB3 after the .com

  • Yamaha has outdone themselves! The best sounding equipment I've heard yet. They should sell VOCALOID to the public

  • @DragnatronixXXI they do.........??

  • @DragnatronixXXI um they do check eBay or amazon.com

  • what ? a eye read Hatune miku ??

  • tttt...t.this ...this is the most ....

the most awesome and beautiful song ever....

unspeechable.....i donno what else to say...

first time i heard it sound like a human...O.O

    Awesome~~~`

  • @MioInWonderland I bet they miss spell it i guess..

But Hatune and Hatsune they sound a little bit same..just miss "s"

  • This song sounds like it would be in Zora's Domain in Legend of Zelda

  • Remember this voice came form a real person.

  • @MioInWonderland just a typo, I think.(ただの打ち間違えだと思いますよ)

  • @MioInWonderland

That's because in Japanese, "tsu" isn't a sound, so really, Hatsune Miku could make a "tu" sound and not the "tsu" sound.

  • ミツクン ロボット 見たいデス

  • make's me cry

  • @pufflesx3 its vocaloid

  • where can you watch the full version?miky is just too adorable :3

  • this miku hatsune use in blender like mmd

  • its related mikumiku dance i think...

  • @AngelJokerGirl No, this came out before MikuMikuDance had anything but the one Miku model. This was used on a completely different program (that the name escapes me) and the model was made by Kio.

  • when she opens her eyes why is it Hatune?

  • because when romaji-izing, "tu" and "tsu" mean the same thing [most Japanese people use "tu" more often tho] :D

  • this is the very first vocaloid song i ever herd

  • no shit sherlock

  • This song is adorable and it does make me cry *sob* *sob*...

  • I think that makes me want to cry and sob (sobing)

  • Hatsune is the original name, look at the CD-Cover of the Vocaloids disk

  • was this one of the original songs

  • What is the name of the song? O.o

    its really good!!!

  • The quality of this program is just astounishing Oo

I didn't think this was actually possible to make something so close of real singing.

  • sona nee hanana nu hoshinono nay na hatsune de nunu hukanino hokiya nonano nakusonu nekani o egetey hogenoetey oshiee adanaet no hiyo chiyo ononoeyo

  • is it just me or in the begining when her eye "turns on" says HATUNE miku.. ins't her name HATSUNE miku?

  • Technically, her name is 初音ミク. It's pronounced "ハツネ." "ツ" is sometimes romanized as "tsu" and sometimes "tu."

  • O.O ty

  • hey,you're right!

  • so na ni nanano su hoshino no nay na hastune ne susu hukani no hokina

  • how...?

  • only beautiful :)

  • sombody must have given here a voice...

  • i know the voice of hatsune miku i think it is "Fujita Saki"

  • waaaaaaaaah sobs sobs beutiful

  • The future is here xD

  • i like the beginning

  • I've got a musical box of Hatsune Miku singing this song...

  • Having watched and listened to both variations of this ballad, I have to say I enjoy this version much more. The other version, which sounds more retro and hiphop, seems to take away from fact that Hatsune's voice actually sounds natural and even hints at passion behind the words.

Truthfully, this clip here is one of the best examples of how well this software can perform in creating a person's voice to sound real and not artificial which can open countless doors of the users imagination.

  • Hiragana vs Katakana (Excuse any spelling there) It's the same as Konichi-wa and Konichi-ha. The S in Hatsune can be ignored if directly translated, I presume that's what was done here (Perhaps the person who made the video isn't good very good with English--They probably only know literal translation..)

  • I don't mean to sound rude, but what does that have to do with Hiragana and Katakana? You're talking about just Japanese in general, and no, the 's' cannot be ignored-- it's not a harsh 't' sound, it's a 'ts' sound-- you need the S. It's not 'tuki' it's 'tsuki' (moon) for example. The difference with konnichi ha/wa is that it is in fact ha but it is pronounced 'wa', just like 'wo' is usually pronounced 'o', it has to do with the fact it's being used as a particle, as my teacher explained it.

  • The 's' is normally ignored by those who don't know the real translation. I talked with a girl on a game, and when she used roomaji, she always left the 's' out of tsu and used 'ha' instead of 'wa' (ex. tuitekite instead of tsuitekite)

as long as you have a good idea of Japanese syntax you don't need to worry about it

  • Miku is such a cutie.

  • what song is this?

  • 01_ballade

  • Aw, the song is so cute. >XD

  • where can you find this 3d software?

  • actually she is an android which means she is human that has modified like a robot watched gunslinger girl for example

  • It said "Hatune Miku" in her eye 0:31

  • I like this version better then the other one. :3

  • O.O that...was the most....beautiful voice...ever...who ever made it was....just plain awsome O.O

  • pretty amazing clothes...

  • You'll be so sad?

  • This video was a HUGE help when I had to make my own Miku cosplay. All the tiny details on her outfit is here. Thanks!

  • in her eye stands vocaloid hatune miku

    and not hatsune miku

  • If i ever die it would be to this song.

  • was that meant as a complement or an insult?

  • @ohikaru if you ever die, lol

  • @ohikaru then I'll kill you soon and I'll be there when you die. just to hear this song. lol!

  • @nazomi12 =O will you die with me then... at least after the song ends?!

  • @ohikaru Sure! But it would be lovely if we will hear the song before we die...

    Let's die now...

  • cool she's a robot

  • What I know, Miku's voice is computer made with a program called Vocaloid. So shes representing Vocaloid.

  • Yes, Miku Hatsune (Hatsune Miku) is a Vocaloid. The vocaloid(s) are programs made by Yamaha and Crypton (?). They take people, record every known pitches, then transfer it to a computer were it becomes computerized. You can buy the program and use a simple "text to sing" system to input lyrics and then select the pitches, thus creating a song in result.

There are a few vocaloids out there. One is even made with the voice of a famous J-Rock star Gackt.

  • I wish a could have her as a pet robot TT,TT

  • you robably WILL be able to in some years ...

  • *probably

  • whoa, really?

  • omg

  • By the way...does anyone know where to find a full version of this song?

  • The best part! ;D

  • WOAH

I've never heard the version without the background music before...

    This is absolutely beautiful. o _ o

Sends shivers up and down my arms.

  • I want her outfit so much! And none of those fake ones!!I want the real Hastun Miku OUTFIT!!!

  • Cool. synthetic human singing.

  • Lovely!!!!!!!

I love when her outfit turns on and she's ready to go!

  • beautiful voice!!!

  • She has to wait for that every time she wants to sing???

    must be very annoying.

    looks really cool though

  • NO NO NO NO ROBOT Dx!!!!

she a vocaloid a program made by using a voice sample of a female singer and they made it into this. the voice has too much innocence and gracefulness for it to be a MERE "robot".

  • beautifull! its awsome

  • What anime is this?

  • It's not an anime, it's the Vocaloid project. It's a project to turn the human voice into a programmable version to make music with. They've digitized a different person's voice to make each of the Vocaloids. They're currently on Vocaloid 2, 'Hatsune Miku' being the first of the group. The company that makes it sells each vocaloid set to make music with, though they're all made to speak in Japanese. Google Vocaloid, you'll see all the various ones on there.

  • I love this vid. She sings beautifully!♥♥♥

  • The song she sings is an excerpt from the song Hoshii no Kakera.

  • ho. ly. crap. wow. That has gotta be the most amazing inofficial animation I've seen in a long while *___*

  • um.. is her first name miku or hatsune??? sorry just wondering.. and this is a beautiful song..

  • Her first name is Miku.

  • it can be said either way

  • This is absolutely beautiful. I couldn't believe how beautiful her voice was when she started singing. Not only is the singing great, but she is very, very, very, pretty. If I could do animations like this, and have a voice this good, I would be drawing and singing probably 24 / 7.

    Well done, beautiful video! ♥

  • pretty

  • well you may just cried because it s THAT beautiful of a song :)

  • omfg i just started crying its so beautiful...even tho i have no idea what she's sayin ^.^'

  • in her eyes it spelled her name hatune lol

  • that's another way of spelling it.

  • Hatsune has a meaning. You cant spell it Hatune. It looses what the name is supposed to mean.

  • actually, the kanji character in her name can be pronounced "hatu" or "hatsu"

either way. it won't lose meaning, because it still refers to the same letter. =]

you have to remember that english and japanese 'alphabets' are not so alike (they're actually veeery different]. =]

  • I know they are very different. Though I do not know the details. I'm still ony starting to learn japanese.
