This is why we have our 2nd Amendment in our constitution! So long as some left wing president doesn't appoint some left wing judges. This is why we were in Vietnam!
"you're" not "your" you fuckin retarded idiot! you're one of the stupid idiots that believe everything what the government is saying. what happened to cambodia when the US tried to install democracy in SE? they bombed the country back to the stone age so stop your bullshit you ugly 36 year old fuck!
kings2099: I'm glad you can see through the media BS. You're right that it is not right to impose democracy on others (and especially now with Bush supporting his policies by religion on appeal to force). I'd suggest the book Cambodia by Brian Fawcett. Very good comparative essay which parallels our Capitalist society to Cambodia.
What allowed the Khmer Rouge to take over was the destablization caused by the Vietnam War, ie. illegal bombing and a ground invasion ordered by Nixon into Cambodia by US troops. The Cambodian citizens being armed or not didn't, unless you think that Buddhist rice-farmers with guns could successfully take out US war-planes, napalm, and two different armies with even bigger and better weapons. The irony is there were Cambodians that eventually got armed - the Khmer Rouge.
This video really touches my heart. No human being should ever experince this senseless murdered. We are the children of a poor nation with hateful leaders and we cried for help but no one hear us. Thanks for sharing.
I visited Choeung Ek Killing Fields and Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum. Skulls piled up about 4 stories high in this little tower. The first thing I thought was these people were disarmed and had no way to protect themselves. The same thing can happen in the US for absolute power absolutely. It doesn't take much force to control several million people who are disarmed. It takes an army to even attempt to control an armed population.
well...i'd say "not really". there are many tyrants, who are not communists. capitalism/imperialism is also one fundamental factor of tyranny. in the case of indochina, for instance, capitalism/imperialism played main role.
We're going to put a " DEAD END " to hun sen road to success....

There was a historian ever quoted :
The ONLY lesson that human beings learnt from history is, human beings learnt NOTHING from the history.
