this is clearly a back draft. just reading the smoke conditions you can tell, thick black, heavy smoke being sucked back into the fire...as soon as oxygen was reintroduced....boom!

Don't down-thumb this. Most of us in EMS and many of you in the fire service have destroyed evidence on a crime scene in order to do our jobs, myself included. Comes with the territory. And firefighters in the cities I work in used to be notorious for barging into unsafe scenes after being told to stage until police could arrive and advise that the scene is secure. They've gotten better about that over the last couple of years, though.
