think the sound you hear is that of an underground boring machine that can drill only 7 miles of tunnels per day. I have heard similar noise in Scotland many years ago; this was at night and the Northern Lights were happening at the same time! As these were seen all over the UK on the date in question I suspect that's what it was!

I heard a sound like this maybe a week ago. It lasted a long time too. I never investigated. I just chalked it up to being a train running through town. Like maybe one of the tracks rubbing wrong. Either you live by train tracks or I need to check it out more next time I hear this.

@porkjaw ...yeah could hear the dogs. I watch the birds in my area...earthquake region...I live close to an airforce base, so sounds that are like big engines are quite normal...not sure I would be able to distinguish between that, and a noise like you were hearing...spooky though

Well i find it strange that people are scared of these noises that you can't see but if you look in the sky every day you can see that we are being bombbarded and poisoned by chemtrails and 90 percent of people don't even see them and when you point it out to people they don't even believe it
