@brianstreehouse Prince has done so many of those splits over the past years that he just can't do them anymore without doing major damage to his body, mainly his hips and lower back, that's why he stopped doing them and doesn't wear high heeled boots onstage as much as he used to.

I remember seeing the 1988 Lovesexy tour in NYC at the garden and also the after the concert party at Roseland later that evening, phenomenal!!!!

This was the last concert in Cincinnati I went to before I joined the Marines back in '88. I was dressed up in my black, double breasted bolero suit, with a thin black tie and black boots, with a black bolero hat to top it off. I was seated about 5 rows back from the front of the stage with a small pair of binoculars focused on sweet Sheila E. playing those drums with hardly any clothes on. My cousin, who was working for Prince during the time, gave me my concert ticket for free. Good times!

I saw this tour when back in 1988 at the Hamptm Colseium in Hampton,Va and it was bananas!!!! Women half dress, throwing roses and panties at the stage! It was a fun show and crazy night even the parking lot was jumping after the show!

I LOVE this tour! it was the 1st time I ever saw him in concert & loved every second! how he showed that Cat was his girl!(lucky)Idk y but there r ppl who say this was a horrible tour but look at how big the venue is its packed 2 the rafters!I was so Blessed 2 b able 2 see him here in Los Angeles 3 times!still the best show on Earth-hasn't lost a thing he is still all things & u can c he hasn't cut his face up 2 look 20!still gorgeous! ty 4 posting!
