If Saya really did care and wasn't selfish, why couldn't she offer to teach Diva and show her that what she was doing was wrong? Everyone saw her as a monster because that's how she was treated as. But all Saya and everyone else wanted to do was kill what they had created, blame it on Diva and call her evil.
