Also if u listen closely it sounded like the musicians were rushing the perrformance and marsha held her ground and made them stay with her. Its a musical communication that michael j had down and he made u stay with him. So don't blame marsha as i said before she did her thing. Tina would've enjoyed RIP Ms Marie

Remember a tribute performance is about relating to the persons song you are singing. if u have a voice to sound like an artist then it doesnt mean youre mocking them it just means you were picked for that reason. As a musician i feel the musicians shouldve done a better job of staying with the performing artist and not the music because she was doing her thing. Over-all as always marsha held it down.

I can't think of any other current Female vocalist that can do as much justice to an original Teena Marie composition like "Portugese Love".......as the ever-so-talented Marsha Ambrosius has done with this performance. With the brilliance of her work with Floetry as part of her resume', somehow you knew that if she ever held the spotlight herself.......she would absolutely BLOW UP! She most certainly has. I love & appreciate Marsha's talent greatly, and wish her the very best.

She's a beast . I loved this performance. She put her on flavor on it. People need to respect her as an artist. artist are suppose to be creative and not try to sound like the person who originally sung the song. But the dress was not flattering on her body.
