Thanks for watching. Am happy to meet another miniature schnauzer's lover!! Say hi to Vader for me :-)

  • I am more interested in watching how do you teach your dog to learn all those tricks? Coz I really feel you spend a lot of time on it, if you wouldn't mind to share your intelligent training skills, please share some video about this. And I am 100%sure lots of the viewers and dog lovers will appreciate it.

  • Love it!!!

What a smart and adorable doggie you have.

I wish I had the dedication to teach my schnauzer tricks like that :-)

  • @tassinmonkeys

Thank you for watching. Appreciate your kind comment :-)

  • are miniature schnauzers good house dogs? Do they need to go outside a lot?

  • @mongirlian

They can be excellent watchdogs as they have good territorial instinct. Their vocal bark will frighten any intruders away....lol but this may annoy neighbours as well, so the dog must be trained to stop barking on command. They do need daily exercise, preferably regular walks to stay healthy. Like humans, the dog's energy levels do vary and a dog with lots of energy will need longer walk.

  • @mongirlian They are incredible house dogs. Probably one of the best house dog you can have. They don't shed, they are obviously small, they are very loyal to there owners. I can't even wrestle with my younger brother with out mine jumping on and attacking me. As irene said though they do have a very high pitch bark that does get annoying. If you chose to get a miniature schnauzer i highly advise teaching them only to bark on command as a puppy.

  • OMG. too cute! planning to get a schnauzer! i want one! hopefully it can be trained to be as smart as Whisky! :)

  • @bevvay

Whisky has brought us lots of joy. If you are getting a schnauzer I wish it will give you as much joy too! Thanks for watching :-)

  • I have a mini schnauzer and I always thought she was super smart. After watching this though, we have A LOT to work on :) this is incredible, mine loves learning new tricks and this gave me a ton of new ideas.

  • Just buy the book to train them is call dont shoot the dog

  • Wow. You must have spent a lot of time with Whiskey for her to be able to do all those tricks. I sit here with my 8 month old pup named Karma and we watch Whiskey in action. I hope that she will be inspired. She can do about 3 or 4 tricks but nothing like what Whiskey can do!! Nice job.

  • @JoeyTai11

Appreciate your kind comment & support. Yeah, hope Karma will be inspired watching Whisky in action. Thank you for watching :-)

  • Thank you so much for watching. Appreciate your kind comment :-)

  • You have an incredible dog and lots of patience. Schnauzers are the best dogs ever!

    All schnauzers are smart :-)

  • @ireneblchua yes, but they are little bit wilful

  • This video made me smile! My oldest knows how to do "high five" and some of the other tricks (very few) that you do with Whisky. I have 4 minis total and it's always a challenge to try and train them since they don't want to be separated.

    Great work!

  • @miniscruffs

Thanks for watching. Happy my video made you smile :-) We have 3 minis and each have their own personality. They have brought us lots of joy :-)

  • @Mavericks42O

Thank you for watching my video. The treats we gave are: dried codfish, dried sasami, duck jerky, Lamb filets, love'em beef/pork/liver treats, dried chicken meat, potato & duck formula treats (biscuits) all cut to bite-size. Hope you have a great time with Bentley :-)

  • @Vyctoriaa

Thanks for watching. Appreciate your kind comment :-)

  • Wow, Whisky is adorable. He seems so very smart and willing to please you. How long have you worked on this routine with him? We also have a mini schnauser named Cookie and a YoChon named Goldie. They are wonderful companions with the best personalities. We love them very much. Thanks for the video, it was very enjoyable to watch.

  • @starwars2078

Thanks for watching. BTW, Whisky is a girl :-) She's very intelligent and learnt fast. All dogs have their own characters and antics that will melt every owner's heart!

  • I not only like the name Whiskey, but also his cut and intelligence! I have a mini schnauzer puppy and he learns one trick a day

  • @SheSoTalented216

Whisky got her name cos' her first owner used to bring her to a pub. lol. In my opinion, MS are intelligent and they loved to please. I hope your MS gives you as much joy as it did for me. For more of Whisky's video, you may wish to visit: Kidowmer's channel. Thank you for watching :-)

  • Really amazing that he can do all those tricks! I have my 5 yrs old mini schnauzer "Maro" he knows some tricks when he was younger but now he kinda forgot about it, which is really my fault because I stop asking him to do the tricks but its ok I still love him and still the best dog ever for me!.... definitely mini schnauzer are tho most intelligent breed in my opinion. How long did it take you to train Whisky all those tricks?

  • @mariafernandez18

    Thanks for watching :-)

Whisky was 1½ years old when we adopted her. She's a fast learner....Yes, in my opinion, I also think that they are a smart breed.. All dogs are lovable and each have their own way of melting their owner's heart. lol :-)

  • I hope my miniature schnauzer will one day know 1/2 the tricks that Whiskey does! LOVE this video!

  • @bittybellabug

Thanks for watching....hope it brought a smile on your face :-)

  • my miniature schnauzer is way smarter

  • @tiiufishel

Thank you for your comment! I'm not surprised your schnauzer is smarter than Whisky; they are a very smart breed! Besides, in the eyes of the owner, their own dog is always the smartest! :-) Just as you love your dog, I love mine, so I think you can appreciate the joys she has brought me. Thank you for watching Whisky even though she is inferior to your dog. I wish your mini all my fondest thoughts & love. ALL DOGS deserve LOVE & RESPECT :-)

  • @ireneblchua sorry, i put just kidding right after that comment but i guess it didn't work. Your dog is amazing and i wish my schnazuar could do more tricks than just sit

  • I have a very clever miniature schnauzer who talks. He actually imitates people and copies what they say and has sayings for specific things such as "I'm hungry", "bedtime" etc. He is now 12 with a brain tumour so is forgetting many of his commands but is still the best thing in my life and I'd never have another breed - mini schnauzers are the best!

  • My schnauzer is stupid. That was cool. Wish my dog could be half as smart.

  • @ibislee

Pls do not say that of your dog...am sure your schnauzer has the fun, amusing & adorable side!

  • my schnauzer is a moron... she doesnt learn fast at all... oh well, she keeps us happy anyways... just not top of the class i guess...

  • @rudyurian

    Thanks for watching our video.

  • I have two miniature schnauzers, one is salt&pepper, one is black. Both 5 months old, don't know how to train them together. Trying to train one, the other will jump on top!,, only knows high 5! I wish I could train them more tricks! Envy you!,,, whisky is too cool!,,,

  • @mooglythemonster

    Thanks for watching :-)

We have 3 miniature schnauzers, all salt & pepper and they are all trained to do tricks but Whisky is the exceptional one! You may wish to watch more of our doggies videos on Kidowmer's channel. Thanks again for your kind support. E N J O Y !

  • incredible u shud be a dog trainer or something

  • @DynamicAttraction

The trainer is Annette. I'm the co-owner of Whisky. You may wish to visit her channel "kidowmer" for more of Whisky's tricks. Thanks for watching :-)

  • im friggin AMAZED.

  • @countrybwoy420

    Thanks for watching :-)

  • Im so training my miniature schnauzer to do that!!! How old was she when you first started training her? My schnauzer is only 2 months. I dont know when i should start.

  • @noniiiism

Whisky was adopted at 1½ years old. She is exceptionally intelligent and learnt fast. You can start training your schnauzer basic commands like sit, stay, down. Thanks for watching my video :-)

  • Did you come up with these tricks on your own to teach? I've never seen so many done consecutively with any dog. I'd love to have a Schnauzer of my own, but I'm not yet in the space to accommodate one. I'm afraid that once I do have one, I'll run out of tricks to challenge the pup.

  • @mercuri4Lme

Thanks for watching my video. Annette is the trainer and co-owner of Whisky. Some of the tricks are from books and some from her own.

  • wow its amazing!!! how did you get him to do all of those tircks???!!!

  • @amz12211

Whisky is a very smart dog. She learned fast and is trained by Annette, co-owner of our 3 mini schnauzers. Thanks for watching and for your kind support. Much appreciated. :-)

  • I never get tired of watching your dogs perform! LOL! :)

  • @TheShopgirl2000a

    Hi Mary

I am very happy you enjoy watching this video. Thanks for your support. Appreciated :-)

  • @ireneblchua You give me inspriation from your beautiful videos! My dogs have learned a lot of things that I probably would not have even tryed! Thank you to ALL five of you! :)

  • @TheShopgirl2000a

Thank you Mary. You are our great fan and supporter :-)

  • Your dog is so intelligent:) I love dogs!!!

  • @Thetruthofman

Thanks for your comment. Hope you enjoying watching :-)

  • @ireneblchua Im loving it very much:) A great video:)

  • @Thetruthofman

Thanks for your lovely comment and kind support :-)

  • Wow, that's amazing !

  • @NyankoCake

Thanks for watching. Hope it brought a smile :-)

  • this is so lovely to watch! I have been considering a miniature schnauzer for a year now(as owning a dog is a long term commitment) and I feel that I am ready. Quick question, how often do u pluck the hair in the inner part of the ear? When they are pups do they feel agitated when we carry this out?

  • @SulphurOfPerfection

Thanks for watching my video. Hope it brought a smile :)

These are what we do every week besides bringing them out for walk 2 times a day:-

    1) clip & file their nails

    2) clean & pluck their ear fur

    3) express their anal gland

    4) bath them

We are schnauzers lovers and simply cannot get enough of them. THEY ARE OUR LIFE, OUR PRIDE & OUR JOY!!

  • wow very smart...: ) Is this breed very noisy? I can't decide yet on if i should get min schnauzer or a havanese? The one that is quieter.... I know i can train it not to bark but it would be a plus if most of the breed has a good rep on quietness. These dogs definitely have the intelligence i a looking for & seem like they would be mellow am i wrong?

  • @IampureSol

As in any breeds there are noisy ones & quiet ones but they sure are very intelligent dogs!! Thanks for watching :-)

  • I also have a miniature schnauzer, except he's almost 2 already and only knows how to sit, shake his paw, lay down, jump, and retrieve his toys:( I wanna teach him more but now he won't do anything if there isn't food involved.

  • @Serrb

Dogs are very specific. Once they are given treats (ie rewards), they would expect the same the next time. Thanks for watching :))

  • I love this video! Shadow is so good... I have been working with my two they have got the dance, and roll over now, in addition to the sit, down & some of the basics... What do you do with Homer & Shadow when you are working with just one? That has been one of my problems, Kahless gets excited & pushy. I have been making her stay, but she wants to do the trick too. Is that Whisky whining in response to the trick she is doing? :)

  • @TheShopgirl2000a

    Hi Mary

Whisky is the one doing the tricks. Shadow & Homer are in the kitchen behind the gate. They each take turn with Whisky performing first. The whining sound comes from Homer who is anxiously waiting for his turn to perform. Thanks for watching and for your great support . Much appreciated :))

  • @ireneblchua I think that I meant Whisky but wrote Shadow... I guess that I need to use the baby gate to keep overly ambitious Kahless back... Its really funny that Kestra normaly is the pushy one untill it involves treats! :) Thanks for sharing!

  • wow amazing, I think many dogs might have the potential of these sorts of tricks but actually training them and getting them this obedient must take a long time I'm sure, well done! very awesome! and very cute :)

  • @Eishwtf

Thanks for your lovely comments. Appreciated :))

  • She is awesome! My schnauzer just know to eat sleep run jump play and wearing his clothes then bite my car key to me and bark at me( call me bring him out by car) XD

  • @ilclyhow

Thanks for watching my video. Am happy to know a schnauzer lover :)

  • super!!! ;)

  • @verdict1105

Thanks for watching. Hope it brought you a smile :)

  • Whisky is so adorable...reminds me of my Schnauzer...Loved watching...Great job with training - and looks like you are both enjoying each other! Is the other dog that was crying while you were busy with Whisky also trained to do tricks? She looked cute from what I could see...Nice job~

  • @13mny

Thanks for watching my video. Yes, the one crying is anxiously waiting for his turn to perform! BTW, the trainer as you can see from the credit roll is Annette :))

  • Whisky is a cool Schnauzer!! You must have spent many many hours training her, she is amazing :o)

  • @gsk83

Thanks for your nice comments. Am happy you enjoy watching my video

  • THAT is AMAZING!!!! I thought my schnauzer was clever but Whisky is incredible!!

  • this is wonderful! I loved seeing Whisky's tricks, she certainly knows alot of them! and what a great relationship between the two of you, love it! :-)

  • @plumwoodposse

Thanks for watching. Am glad you enjoy the video :)

  • Fabulous schnauzering Irene! I'm really impressed and will try to teach my mini schnauz some of these - can't say I'm confident of such a great outcome but we'll give it a go!

Thanks for your kind comment and thanks also for watching :)

  • Whisky is amazing! I think she can read your mind! Bravo! Blessings, Patty

  • my mini schnauzer can shake dance high five sit lay down speak etc

  • Whisky is so cute! How do you train her so well?

  • i wish my miniature schnauzer can do all that

she only knows how to sit, give you a paw, stand, down and roll over

  • Great job! I really like how you are working with your dog :)

And she seems to have a lot of fun.I'm impressed, really :)))

  • i cant believe that he is so good i wish mine could do all that

  • @schnauzergirl43

Thank you :) BTW, Whisky is a girl.

  • Can you come to my house and teach this 5 mths CrAzY dog? he just can't do all that tricks.

  • wow! i love ur dog and it is so smart

  • Wow !!

  • i have a 5 month old, he's got some stuff down but not nearly as many as i think he should.

loves to shake paws, rolls over, that's just about it... i'm currently teaching him to howl.

  • W-O-W! That was Impressive! Very Smart and Great Training..How long did it take to show him all that? Great Video.

  • Whisky is very smart and you are obviously a great trainer! Could you come teach my mini schnauzers?! You made my day with this video. What fun to watch.

  • Thanks Loripott for your kind comments. We have 3 schnauzers (Whisky, Shadow & Homer). Whisky and Homer are adopted. They are our children and we talk to them alot. They get their daily walk twice a day and are all trained by Annette (co-owner).

  • Omg ur dog is amazing i have a miniature schnauzer 2 !!! did u teach whisky???

  • Amazing... Very well trained..
