Thanks for the reply, I was just getting another opinion. So far they haven't adjusted it. I've had no issues with this type surgery, unless it was something I did wrong. As for labs, B12 was high so I backed off those and D was really low, so I got a prescription for those. Other than that, 85 pounds down and all is okay, other than being tired. But was told it could take months for energy. to return.
I enjoy the videos and post them on boards where others like them as well.
Does this include all meds? I never was on BP or diabetic meds, just Prozac. But I'm 6 months out and still tired, taking naps, etc... However, it was like that before also.
Hi! I don't recommend adjusting your Prozac medication unless your doctor says so. This is more toward HBP, diabetic meds or other chronic medications. Anti-depressive medications should be adjusted by your doctor depending on his/her evaluation.
Thanks for posting that, I had a lot of trouble thinking something was wrong and it turned out my gabapentin dosage was too high. I stopped taking it and it was like night and day.
Thanks Dr. Alvarez, great video as usual. Many people wont realize that their medications need adjustment so quickly, so its a good thing as you did to stress the importance for readjustment shortly after getting sleeved.
