@Dimmarth the choice lies between inconvenient slow free solution and cheap easy to use extendable plugin. I value my comfort and time so I'd rather go with Magic Picker.
@Dimmarth works bad near the edge of the document, hard to change only hue or sat/value without shifting the other one. And I used to have fingers near Q/W/E/R/A/S/D/Z so it's really not that convenient to press three buttons in the same time. I started using Magic Picker before HUD Color Picker was introduced in CS5 and really was looking into it but for me it is disappointing from interface point of view.
Has anyone experienced a bug where on the Mac OS X Lion using PS CS5.1, that right after you pick a color from the panel, the command and space bar don't work unless you pick a different tool, leave the app or switch windows? So for instance once I pick a color, I can't undo, cut, paste or zoom in with space bar until I choose another tool, leave the app, or click on another window?
Literally JUST bought and installed this, and I LOVE IT. Thank you so much! I cannot tell you how frustrating it was to have a huge gamut of colors available but to have to keep opening up the color picker window over and over and over again-- this is running so smoothly and aoisdj I JUST LOVE IT SO MUCH THANK YOU it's definitely going to change the way I work on Photoshop!!
supercool and a wonderful tool!!! I wanted a plugin like that for years! I'm a digital concept artist and colorist from Mountain View, California and since I often have to pick colors I've searched for a tool like that all around. thnx for sharing! 8O *) -)
I don't now your true but my is the way I told in my last commentaty maybe I'm not as lucky as you are I don't have time to establish a useless argument about what happen to you or me
I have it and it's god help for the lacking of a permanent color picker in Photoshop interface especially for a digital artists but this plug- in have a mayor flaw , It's only one time instal and to unlock it you have to link out to the owner or maker web page so every time your computer crash be ready to pay another
fourteen dollars and that's not fair I guess this plug-in was made just to benefit
one side of the rope so my advice is to wait until other plug- ins come out .
@Luqueso1 That's not true. If your system crashed or you upgraded CS you can simply wright an email to support. I did that 3 times already: after moving from Win to Mac and then after upgrading CS4 to CS5
@Luqueso1 Hi! I'm Anastasiy, the creator of MagicPicker color wheel. There's no need to buy second copy, when you had a crash. If you have any problems with registration (or any other) - please write me an email.
I provide 24/7 FREE customer support for all who bought the panel. And I send FREE updates, the one is coming this month! Stay tuned.
May I ask what kind of brush that is? Did you make it yourself or does it come with Photoshop? If it does, would you like to tell me the name of it? It looks very usefull.
@eelsevilla not it does (right now I'm using it with CS5), check your registration mail, probably there are links to all the versions, CS5 has a zxp extension
@sanzda go to URL in description, hit 'Buy Now', you'll get email with serial number, download URLs and instructions, in 15 seconds you'll have it installed.

Obviously it works, but how about a better explanation of how to install it? I'd find that infinitely more useful than an extended demonstration...
