Yea, I know what you mean. I have what I think is a great Idea but sometimes it just works out differently. They seem to have a personality all thier own and you just have to go with the flow. He will tell me if he doesn't like something.

good man! get cracking on it mate, busses are easy to get roadworthy quick, weld it up nicely tho,paint underside to perfection, leave the topside as is, as for air ride, i used to hate it! hardcores dont do air! but after fitting it and having a play,its the best thing you can do!!! smooth ride and scraping at the flick of a switch! do it! good luck mate,if youve got big enthusiasm and tools, you can do anything,il look forward to next vid... NOW GET OUT IN THE GARAGE AND GET TO WORK...!!!!

Rusty want's an AirRide, but I told him that I can't afford it right now and he will have to wait. He understands and is just happy to be rescued. This is the first time he has been indoors for many years. I hope to scrape enough stock parts togoether to get him on the road this year. Then maybe Rusty and I will revisit the AirRide idea.

They all have a unique personality and will reveal that to you if you look hard enough. I currently own 2 male Volkswagens. I have been noticing a lot of female Volkswagen names on YouTube lately though. Hmmmm.

I've noticed that lately to. I know that my bug definatly has a personality, I can't help but talk to it when its having trouble on a cold morning, or if I'm just bored out on the road.

There is no part you can not fix. Get a cutter and a mig welder. You have seen my cut job on my bug videos. Fix it up. These are worth a fortune. I sold my 62 doublecab for a price that I know now should have cost me a nut. I still pray to the VW gods for forgiveness. Now I am sad again. Peace.

This one would take a pretty good doner to get the metal needed. I can find a better one for a nice restore later. Rusty is going to be put on the road with the outside pretty much like it is now.

Leave the paint, do a cheap shotty interior and throw a 2332 turbo in it and make the sumbiatch a sleeper.
