  • The only reason America has so much free shit to give to its own citizens is because it borrows it from the rest of the fucking planet or prints it out of thin air. It's a sick fucking piece of shit country whose dollar is great as toilet paper, but not much else. Just like their fucking word. They will bullshit you up the ass to get shitloads of credit to make everyone else look worse off than they are. Which is why america is fucking bankrupt. Sucks to be american!

  • usa they like spend money for war than to take care of they own citzen

  • life can be accepted to throw all sort's of thing's at you the test & mesure of a person is what they make of their misfortune,I know this maybe a bland comment, but think of it this way, If we all slept in vans & trailers this would be a big probrm for bank's & goverment, you have no address,no comute into work,in a job you hate,As long as you can eat ,have water you can tough it out,In a contry like Ameica,

  • 14 people lost their home!

  • get real american is all about what they dont have notthey all knew they couldnt aford what they got who the hell pays 10,000 a month on a home gready. oh ya obama isnt a good president but the better of the two that ran and one man isnt gonna get us out of this. this is where we pull are heads out are ass COWBOY UP!!! and work togeather

  • no 1 tells what to do but we have social housing and free health service from the uk

  • its only the american dream coz u gotta be asleep to believe it...george carlin r.i.p

  • Lot of Americans are graduating from high school and trying to go out on their own and finding there are no jobs. Ive put in over 200 applications in the last year and only got a response from 2 employers, actually have an interview at an Ihop so hopefully it will be the end of my 2 years of unemployment... Most employers wont higher you if you have been unemployed for over 6 months so for those who haven't been employed yet the outlook is bleak...

  • Awwwwwwwww! I am now gonna feel sorry for the NEARLY 100 people who are homeless. Open your eyes, people. Palestinian people are being slaughtered every day, Africans are dying of Malaria and starvation, Syrians, Libyans and Egyptians are being killed by their crazy governments.

    FOR GOD'S SAKE.

    FOR ALLAH'S SAKE.

    FOR GENESH'S SAKE.

America is funding for the wars making the many (I'm talking about the huge 100) homeless.

This video makes me cry FOR DEATHS AROUND THE WORLD.

  • The American people vote for wars that cost them trillions of dollars, but cost people in Iraq countless lives, oceans of stress, sadness, fear and emotional and financial depression.

If you american people think that what you did to Iraq was acceptable then you shouldn't be complaining about this.

  • @johanexxxx i agree with u 100%

  • poor old U$A if only they had "got it together" lol

  • was having thousands homeless on the streets of the US part of the north american dream as well? lol

over 15 trillion in debt? Face it U$A you are doomed

  • @COMMUNISTPHILOSOPHY doomed to what? No being ridiculously wealthy? Plenty sitll are here. You know nothing but negativity - not good for anyone's future.

  • And what about getting a job and renting some flat near it???

  • thats the problem, people overspend. always.10k a month for 2 homes? she should have saved the cash wile the gettin was good and she could OWN a home. move out of santa barbra and maybe you can afford a home.

  • You can't kill what never was alive,George Carlin said it best, the American dream is just that,a dream. It's all about survival,a universal reality. If you get used to living within your means and strive for a honest hard working life, everything will be fine.

  • good fight america

  • They need to show things like this on t.v. & not a bunch of bullshit.

    This is REAL LIFE here.

  • RIP United States of America. You had a good run...

  • There has never been no such thing as an american dream. The american dream is a definition that is used by rich people. And they are living their dream, but at the same time causing the nightmare for everybody around the globe and in this country. They want white trash cook meth, they want the congolese women to be raped. They want arabs blowing themselves to bits. Cause otherwise they would ahve stopped it.

  • If I had to sleep in my car, I wouldn't go to Minnesota so you would feel sorry for me! I'd go to Southern California where it's warmer. How stupid to suggest I go to Minnesota so people would feel sorry for my (soon-to-be) dead body!

  • That's just the beginning soon all of the middle class will follow them

  • In England, UK, these people would given social housing, all types of benefits, and helped to get back on their feet if they really wanted to. America seems like such a selfish place. I should not even mention the health care...

  • @jspenuk Yh I Definitely agree It's like that in most of Europe.

  • @jspenuk

These people are living with the consequences of their own decisions. In America we believe in risk and reward.

  • 1st of all throw all your Credit Cards away, have only 1 and STOP living beyond your means ... that will take the power of the banks over YOU away.

  • people who has a god, tell me how much do you spend a year to breed a dog? 2000? more?

  • according to the report each second person has debt around $8000

  • What do I do? feel sorry her?

  • The American Dream is heavily flawed but these people, like most are products of their culture. It's easy to pretend like you're immune to the bad decisions others make, but I guarantee that all of the "perfect" people slinging snark on this thread have made their own errors in some area of life. I have a certain amount of respect for these folks because they've at least learned something from their errors, they see the role they've played in their own fate, and they're trying to move on.

  • The American Dream is not about social justice, equal poverty for all with no incentive nor reward to succeed. The American Dream is about the free market. It rewards those who make it with both money and feelings of accomplishment.

    .

The American Dream is not a welfare state for all. It challenges all to become better to get the things they truly want in life. There will always be poor. Why should we abolish the middle class for the elitist desire to redefine the American Dream?

  • @Fashionificationful what happened to the american dream the dream of having a free country and having rights and hope:(and now we killed that dream the dream we hoped that would never die was killed why did we kill the dream :( why?

  • American Dream has become the Worlds nightmare! The dream is a utopia because if everyone make big bucks who will drive the trucks, who will wipe your dads ass clean in the hospitals, who will clean your offices, who will build your house, who will package your food and who will manufacture all the shit to satisfy your excessive needs? - I am surprised that you Americans did not scrap that dream allready in the 50's simply because its evil.

  • America is dead if we are this attached to material things.

  • I can't believe that people would feel sorry for anyone who was living above their means, not properly managing their money, and unable to work any other job than the one GIVEN them.

  • Ok Sweden. And why does your country support american foreign policies? Im sure you are aware of the relation btw neoliberal capitalism and foreign relations

  • Very depressing stuff. Cannot bear to watch

  • dumb american motherfuckers!

This is what happen when your country become to much liberal and when you loan money to people who can´t pay back!

    dumb fat americans!

    go sweden!

  • I need some weed...

  • @hootiepaladin

    Grow it!

  • whoever says the american dream is gone is stupid. only to this generation of lazy people with no structure to keep going would say that. we are going through rough times and we still are dominating the world in so many levels

  • @paulinotou .. you sound like a banker?

  • @paulinotou

Ever wonder why that is? Because there are less workers to produce a bigger profit. What happens to the other half-- they end up here. You are sadly mistaken to think that the American Dream isn't dead. A lot of small businesses can't compete with these large corporations; government is taxing the hell out of them. With your kind of grammar, it's only a matter of time before you end up like them.

  • @Devildriver763 oh really, is that so. i find it ridiculous when people go on youtube and say that you are an idiot because of you bad grammar. this aint no reading exam. my aunt just started her own planning buisness and its doing pretty good. not to mention if there is any place to be an entrepenuer its the US. only here can a peice of shit like crocks be worth millions of dollars. its almost ridiculous.

  • This is what im doing, and its working out. I dont use a credit card (I know this restricts me in many ways, travel, rental etc. but whatever). I pay rent for where I live. I use cash. I have very little on my bank account. I have most of my savings (in cash) stored away safely. I have no debt. And hereby, I have absolutely nothing to do with the evil, corrupt government of the U.S.

  • It's videos like this one which makes me feel like we need a second revolution!

  • Not even in mexico one of the most corrupt countries in the world can banks just take your home and leave you on the street. In europe this is unheard of.

America is just corrupted all the way up to goverment. Otherwise the goverment would put the banks in their place. I feel bad for the american people. Once on the street you may never havea comeback. Very sad.!!

  • while I agree the govt is partially responsible for this travisty, (individual)people in general are trying to take from you and get you in trouble and by "playing victiim" to the true vics every day.

  • The big bankers have propagated the false notion that the American dream is home ownership, and many people bought into it, but hopefully they won't again.

The American dream is freedeom, mainly freedom from harassment.

We are witnessing the setting up of the diabolical one world goverment that will rear its ugly head once the economies of the first world countries are sufficiently crashed and people become desperate for a false saviour and will receive the mark of the beast.

  • financing, refinancing etc are all ways to fleece the simple, if you want to own a home unless you can afford it in cash, then do not buy but rent, isn,t this how it is in most of the world. Also people thinking they own a business-a life coach-for God,s sake get real and go find a job , a dream built on borrowing and maxing credit cards, 2 vacations a year etc when you do not have the funds is not a dream but a nightmare.

  • Is this not what Jesus taught? That people will not be content with earthly riches?

  • why were they borrowing so much money?

why did they not live within their means

    mortgage 10k a month? that's ridiculous

I live in Canada nobody looks out for me and i can do want I want

    you have to live responsibly.

  • @dave777blaster I need to drink responsibly!

  • why were they borrowing so much money?

why did they not live within their means

    mortgage 10k a month? that's ridiculous

  • American dream? You have to be asleep to believe it. check out my blog, everyone needs to wake up & yes you need to participate. Your elected leaders cannot do it for you. If you have facebook, join me on facebook. The more we get CONNECTED – in however way that we can, the more people will wake up

  • A new new network tv show should be called American Vanity! American dream! BS. There is no more of a dream here in America that in any other western country. Canada has had not resession and no banks have failed!

  • I hate to see how many who want simpathy when they were once rich. The rich people should have been saving money for the tough times. I feel really bad for those that have never made much mnore than minimum wage since since it is impossible to save anyhting at such a low wage. But the rich and their vanity is not fogivable! Unless!!!!! While they were rich they were giving and helpfull to the poor. Otherwise NO!

  • The fat guy living in the motor home is a terrible father, the happiest he has ever been is when his children are homeless.

  • Two homes? Way to life within your means, geez

  • I can gaurantee none of the people making these ignorant comments below have ever faced such a situation. There is much corruption in gov't, in banking, on wall street, etc. These people were innocent victims just living their life. These people have gained enlightenment through such an unfortunate situation. The arrogance and ignorance and lack of empathy from some of the comments people have made on this video are a disgrace to the human race. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

  • I am laughing the more I watch these videos listening to these peoples stories. You never hear of people who put 20% down losing their homes.

The woman with 2 homes worth 2 mill?? You must be a really good real estate agent. I bet you thought those homes would be worth 4 mill by now huh?

  • This guy is living in a parking lot and he still believes in the American dream? He is the epitome of denial. Talk about being delusional.

  • @Dovenpeis I agree. He is a brain dead American who can't deal with reality and probably thinks that being a parking lot is an adventure.

A lot of people in this country are like that.

They don't think realistically but are dreamers.

    Time to wake up.

  • Why would you have two homes worth over $1million and not be able to afford them...?

  • give me an fn break! Santa Barbara is the most expensive place to live in the world!!! these people had no income, took out stupid loans, nothing down , adjustable rates. This guy's job was "life coach" , what the hell is a "LIFE COACH" ???? Im supposed to be sad for these people????? Come freeze your azz off in Minnesota and then I'll feel sorry for you!

  • @frmertd

Minnesota was built by north europeans, that means hard working, decent, righteos and humble people - California was built by greedy gold diggers from everywhere - where do you think decency will occur?

  • @cosmobserver north europeans who also americans. i think who work like they worked - good people and nice to talk. they understand more then new generation of americans playing whole day in nintendo and jack off computer

  • @frmertd Very insightful. You must be from Minnesota like me.

  • @frmertd ur not right Rosevill in Sacramento, California the most expensive city in the world. Moscow is the most expensive city on this earth. Prices in 3 times more then in california

  • @frmertd SB is not the most expensive place to live in the world, not even in soCal. These were successful people who had the economy turn against them illustrating the plight of the middle class caused by those who care only for the top 2% which have not been affected by this depression. And I don't need 8 feet of snow to know it's colder in Minnesota than here in California. That's why I live here to avoid the cold and the mequitos

  • i would rather sleep in my car in California than in a house where I currently live!!!lol

  • I don't think this existed to begin with

  • how much is a flat in america and the average net wage for a year??? you guys think you have it hard i think your a bunch of idiots come and live in eastern europe fith 10 000-15 000 a year gas prices double cars 30% more expensive and apartmens from 50 000 -100 000 in normal cities ,i don't understand the numbers says you have it goooood so i', confused you took a house 3 cars on credit and pay 60% of your wage ? wtf happend can anyone tell me the prices i asked for ?

  • The Bilderburg group and banks made lots of money.

  • you're not your fucking khakis. good vid

  • It should be renamed to indian dream, which is cheaper and requires a lot more hours of slave work

  • no no is not death, I'm faithful to the American dream! I study economics and I live in Italy, but I hope one day to move to the U.S.! =)

  • @Arianna89fairy i would suggest you don't wait until 2011 and see how the Economy is because it might collapse anytime soon.

  • Man I gotta admire these people. It would take nads of steel to live homeless. I'm pretty sure I'd end my life at that point. That's why I took steps to avoid the situation, Choosing an affordable condo rather than bankrupting myself on a house and paying extra every month. Now after 11 years, it's paid off. Homelessness is one of my greatest fears and I dearly hope I never have to experience it.

  • Talk about a country with no future.

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • WOW!!!!!!.lol! small minds quote!!!

  • @mzzbehavin you mean correct, don't you?

  • @1dschamp why because of some 'documentary' by the ultra dramatic JourneymanPictures about a few people who lost huge homes? laugh. I'm american and i own my own business, i've been fine for many years and many of my clients are dealing with the economy problems and are still quite wealthy, some making $10,000 per week or more. Oh yeah, no American dream eh? How much do you make ?

  • @robi2000 I would expect an American to think that money is the only measure of a person or a country's worth. However, if that what you think matters, the consider this. Your government has debt levels of 15 trillion dollars, you health care system is nothing short of disaster even though you spend more than double the average amougst western countries, your unemployment rate is above 20% yet you blindly believe your "the best". It seems your both morally and financially bankrupt.

  • @1dschump Sadly, i've learned over many years not to expect any better than shallow judgement from someone like yoursefl. You have read into my comments your fantasies and embraced your insecurities while you project your pathetic beliefs upon me and the US.Most Americans do not require health care yet it is available despite idiotic rumours. A large country has a large debt true, but lots of countries have debt.

  • @1dschimp and the fact that you would 'expect an American to think that money is the only measure of a person or country'(something i never wrote)just shows the depths of inferiority complex that you feel. You're simple minded enough to assume i think the US is 'the best' though you are the only one whoWrote that. I realize that it's nice for simpleton hateful people to create their own fantasies then confidently argue against them. You are weak & stupid enough to judge a country by a documentary

  • @1dschump And it's pretty obvious that JourneymanPictures focuses on the loss of money- LOTS of money by a few people in this very video so i guess they judge a 'Dream', person or country's worth by money which then communicates to you that the country has 'no future' which means you also judged the country by money which in turn makes you little more than an immature kid who problably still lives at home with mom so i'd likely forgive your naive pontification

  • @robi2000 Good posts!

  • @1dschamp if you believe that, than you are pretty negative. this video was nearly 3 years ago. if there is anyplace suffering its the EU.

  • @paulinotou Hardly, the EU still has low unemployment and high wages, universal health care and education and a strong high tech manufacturing base supported by an alliance of varying economies. The US recovery is virtually zero.

  • @1dschamp spain, italy, greece, ireland are all struggling. Germanys chancelor pushed to end the social programs because they could no longer afford it. just a couple months ago they predicted a second recession. both US and Europe however do have recovery, it will come with time though, we might even go into tougher times before it gets better. the world seen worse. if the US economy did collapse so will everyone elses. and i live in europe, and europe is struggling.

  • Houses in So. Cal especially in the Inland Empire are 40,000 to 50,000 dollars and the market still hasn't bottomed out yet.

  • God bless those folks wow how sad !!

  • My wife, sons and I live in an apartment and my kids are more appreciative of what they have than their "rich" friends who live in $450,000 houses. I put the word rich in quotations because most of these people are in the red and are constantly stressed because they're living beyond their means. We go on nice vacations every Summer and take at least one of my son's rich friends with us because their parents are so deep in dept that they can't afford vacations.

  • its death to the american dream 'coz ceos give everything to the foreigners...cheap labor and broken promises.

  • its death to the american dream 'coz ceos give everything to the foreigners...cheap labor and broken promises,,

  • Indeed, materiel wealth is not what makes the American dream. It is the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

  • @RoniCMaster theres an affordability crisis 'coz houses now cost in the millions.

  • To that notary lady at 4:00, leave your cats already. I can't see how its logical when you're in such deep shit but you don't do all you can to cut back on your spending. She lost her jobs and her home and I'm left wondering how she's able to afford to feed the cat, pay for the gas and of course, feed herself. If someone's helping her, she ought to show more appreciation by being thrifty.

  • It all comes down to discipline really. I was taught this before kindergarten, 'never buy something if you don't have the money for it'. Is that so hard to understand? Why's everybody just getting into debt and even taking credit cards, screwing their lives over by spending wildly money that isn't theirs.

  • to all those people who have commented negatively about the people in this film whom they feel are not deserving of sympathy: you should be ashamed of yourselves! Have some compassion, please. unless you yourselves are homeless, you have nothing to say about how any of these people are living or about how they got there. and if you are homeless, then i would hope you can understand that there are many roads to homelessness, and virtually no one chooses any of them!

  • i don't know what i would do ending up with my own family in these ppl's shoe my wife n kids i think i would just get up and leave when they are sleeping but in other hand why leave them for my pain and what i got them into

  • going to get worst soon

  • The american dream never existet. When your born poor you stay poor, when your born rich, you will inherit your parents wealth and influence.

It works that way in nearly every country of the world, but in the US the expensive educational system maks this problem even worse.

  • The so called "american dream" was ALWAYS a sham. It was in truth a concoction of lies and myths by conglomerates to lure unsespecting minorities and 2nd and 3rd world inmigrants into slavery. Now the BIGGER question is if the United States of America REALLY a country, or just carved out territories for corporations? The USA was NEVER a nation, just a lie in itself.

  • well boo hoo- i lost my condo-my subaru wagon-i cant buy tea at tim hortons -BUT IM SO FREE- RICH SNOBS DOING LIKE MAJORITY OF WORLDS HUMANS-IF she got money for her home- so where is it? people so happy to finally lose the house which was forcing hateful couple together-

  • Also...Don't buy something you can't afford it.

  • Sorry, if you don't have a stable job...don't buy TWO HOUSE!!!

American dream is just silly, borrow credit card and buy all luxuries. Don't blame on government, blame on your own stupidity.

  • If your not white, the so called land of the Free isint for you! if you look at the American History, you'll see that it was founded by a bunch of Freemasons: George Washington-John Q Adams, etc. The killing of indians to steal their lands. The statue of Liberty was given to NYC from the French Freemasons, dont belive me, look in France to find 2 other statue of liberties. The recruiting of the low income poeple in poor communities for the Iraq and Afghan war--you wont see them in Belair/bev.hil

  • I have little sympathy for the woman at the beginning. She was trying to flip homes and make money. 2 homes?!!! Holy shit most people I know wish they had just ONE home. True homelessness is when you do NOT have a car to sleep in...

  • the American dream is at the expense of everyone else in the world.

  • Good people shit on by the Elites

  • PEOPLE REDUCED TO NOTHING. ITS A SHAME

  • The start of the "down-turn" was in the early 1980s [Reaganomics] when corporate greed skyrocketed, wages became stagnated while the cost of living continued rising and Union membership went down. People must learn that you do not need a TV or phone in every room and your house does not need to be twice as large as what you really need. Senseless consumerism must stop. Less can be more!

  • The key these days in my opinion, live light and simple, save as much as you can, ditch the iphone, ditch cable tv, prepare for the worst and hope for the best, STOP BUYING CHEAP CRAP FROM CHINA YOU DONT NEED..

  • LOL what a idiot why you buy 2 house that worth more then a 1 million? you should atleats had a house that worth 150,000 atleats pay up incase, thinking what could happened in the future or if you couldn't work anymore. How stupid you start earning alot money and you spend it all on house that worth millions LOL paying 10k a months with all that you could had a modest house. Idiot

  • "The American Dream" = Bullshit! Always has been. A farce fed to millions of gullible people - just take a look at the state of the world now. People in low paid jobs buying big houses, SUVs and spending the rest of their days in debt. They need to waken up and live within their means!

  • Create more jobs in America by supporting the bill.

Do a search for ... little willys dream.

  • Many Amers don't know what capitalism is. A brief explanation: Capitalism's private control of industry. Socialism's govt control of industry.Libraries, public school, fire dept, medicare&social security are examples of socialism.Govt control over some industry-health care&education-is necessary 4 democracy to form.Dr's shd be focused on what's best 4 the pt, not what saves $. Capitalism can exist in a democracy if it's limited by regulation&relegated to "non vital" industries. We nd both, IMO.

  • america is sick country - its becouse ritch people are so greed, they dont wanan share they money on the social service - and this is an answer....the fortune is sncky...today we are healthy and ritch...tomorow everythink can chainge.... I wish you americans will understand it soon, and stop call the social healthcare system - a comunism - becouse u have a feudalism now - its worse then comunism even

  • I feel sorry for everybody but the lady who paid 10k to maintain two mortgages. Also, take note, that none of these people actually do anything of value for a living like preparing food, cleaning, or building something useful. In other words, when hard times hit, jobs like a "life coach" or a notary will be the first to go.

Another thing, living in your car is not exactly "homeless". You can still live a good life out of your car. Now a cardboard box on the NYC streets! Now that's homeless!

  • Simply they tried to get rich by buying and selling house by increasing the prices? They basically tried to get rich screwing other people. That is the problem with America is that we keep looking for ways to get rich without doing work. People should just realise you have to work to live and if you work hard you can at least live a good life in America. These people who want money by screwing people need to learn that.

  • @MatheJ09 Oh please; I know people who work 12+ hour days that never get ahead. Working hard doesn't always generate wealth.

It's sad really. My late grandfather worked in a department store (wife did not work) , had 3 children and was able to purchase a nice home in a nice neighborhood in Chicago. His home is now valued at over 200k. Show me someone today working in Walmart that can afford such a lifestyle.

  • @kramnrublaw Yeah thats true but the reason it is that way is because people are doing stuff like this all over America. People raised prices on those people. Thats why I don't feel sorry for the people in this video. Where are all the people who couldn't buy a home because they jacked it up to much? I wish everyone in America could just live like your grandfather did but instead they try these get rich fast schemes.

  • @MatheJ09 So the American dream is dead because of people flipping homes? Lol! There have always been get rich quick schemes.

  • @MatheJ09 you can't always live a good life by working hard. I used to work 3 jobs and not make ends meet. There were times I used to steal food from the deli just so i could eat.

  • msungs, that was a very foolish comment, as Germany is by far more socialist than the USA. You can't oppose Obamas motives, than on the other hand favor Germany's system. Don't you know Germany was one of the first to implement "universal" healthcare, and those benefits you mention are socialist in nature. If you're Republican, you're suppose to be against this and the way Germany is ran.

  • @scott231us I take it you have never been to Germany. You just remain in your country since you love it so much, but let this individual do his own thing. BTW; just visting a country is not always enough. Live there and experience their way of life. Excluding urban Germany, they actually don't put much emphasis on money, status and material objects as we do in the states. Socialism works. Germany is proof positive. That doesn't mean they are 100% socialists though.

  • I am an American moving to Germany on April 27th (as long as the stupid volcano in Iceland stops spewing particles into the air) to escape the oppressive Hussein Obama regime. I can't wait to be in Germany in a country with so much to offer. Good jobs, good health care, good transportation, good benefits, 20% energy independent, and away from the Gangsters and illegals and fatsos in this country.

  • I'm sitting here laughing at both Russians and Germans that posted here that believe they represent a more moral country.. They should look at their own country and previous history, prior to hating on US politics and shortcomings..

  • @scott231us I am an American moving to Germany on April 27th (as long as the stupid volcano in Iceland stops spewing particles into the air) to escape the oppressive Hussein Obama regime. I can't wait to be in Germany in a country with so much to offer. Good jobs, good health care, good transportation, good benefits, 20% energy independent, and away from the Gangsters and illegals and fatsos in this country.

  • @msungs I envy you, my friend. My ex lived in Germany while her husband was in the military. She loved everything about that country. She actually cried when she had to come back to the states. The quality of life is so much better. They don't expect you to work yourself to death. They actually value human life. I hope you have a great life in that wonderful country.

  • @scott231us The Germans did have a negative past, but that is long gone. Germans now enjoy a quality of life that you couldn't even possibly imagine. Couldn't think of any modern ways to attack them so you dug into the past, huh? Well what about America? Our founders STOLE this land. Yep; you are living here off the deaths of the natives. Stop living in the past. Go visit Germany in the present.

  • @kramnrublaw Dam straight bro, salute from Puerto Rico. Take care.

  • @scott231us what do you know about geography, russian history? americans don't study history of Russia, they study basic what government gave that you study. In Russia you study a lot. Even you go to the college in Russia, first semester you take at least 40 units and you suppost to take it not less. Now imagine, in USA you take only 12 units and you call this full time. American people say, ohh we are great country, ofcourse you are? Thanks to Japanese engineers, Russian engineers.

  • Americans also say, we are rock, ofcourse you rock, when all russian engineers came to usa from USSR, now they own paypal, ebay, sunmicrosystem, aconis, largest companies in USA. Americans are lazy. My neighbor say, why im living in my country and driving honda civik, you living for 4 years, you have a house allmost paid off, diriving mercedes and all the time you are sitting home? That means americans are slave people. According to the report 99% of americans use W2 form ))) Thanks to Europe

  • You invade others place and finally you lose yours.........Newtons 3rd law.

  • I am the flip side of the coin. Some saved during the boom and did not buy into the housing bubble. 5 bedroom house and a cabin in the mountains with large down payments. I love my life. How it works. Be smarter next time.

  • the american dream is a bunch of crap!!!!

  • @GermanEaglePatriot didnt used to be

  • @snic104049

The American dream has always been exactly that, a dream. Or in the words of GermanEaglePatriot: a bunch of crap. The reality of it is that for the vast majority the American dream is a sucker’s trap.

  • @GermanEaglePatriot, some of the americans need 2 or more jobs! That's insane! And then they are against Europe and their social plans. We have house here who you can rent and when you have low loan you get money from the state. In America they all have a single bought house.

  • Stay in Europe, whatever you do. America slogans would have you believe "the land of opportunity"

Reality being, the land of more ways to get screwed, taken advantage of and then tossed out with the garbage when cheaper labor is found.

  • Stay in Europe?....not even going to explain how it doesn't matter where you are.

  • At least they're still alive alive. Unlike those unfortunate 1.5 million innocent Iraqi children, women and men slaughtered at the hands of u.s.

    EVERY DOG HAS IT'S DAY.

  • You can live in a car eat cat food in Greece why go to the US to do it. america livse on TV in the media it is not reality. stay in Europe.

  • i am from greece and i want to live the american dream i won't marry i won't do children i want only my best friends my lovely job and a lot of money also muscle cars and chicks this is the american dream right? this is the true paradise i want to live that!!!

  • @TheAmaliadagreece I agree with sjtucker.

What is shown on TV is not the overall reality. Immigrants always get suckered by the "streets of gold."

Overall, standards of living are better in Europe and some parts of Asia because of basic health plans, free college education, decent incomes.

Is there a European dream? No. I think people on that continent are doers not dreamers.

Iam not interested in dreams. Dreams end once you wake up.

  • @MultiSmartass1, you are totally right! And we have a minimum income here in the Netherlands. So companies can't pay you lower than the minimum income. So people don't get poor!

  • jeez, i want that too, but looks like not going to happen with this kind of economic problems, you americans export your culture everywhere, and we the rest of the world want in.

  • capitalism breakdown.

    just style help each other.

  • i hope the american dream ends, so we will finaly see what a big lie it was.

    created by the central bankers

  • Figure this one out------ America: the only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment - yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations. 99% of people won't have the guts to copy and repost

  • @fxdrdnme

You sir are made of awesome.

  • @kuraisong No, I am out to spread the word of how we dont care of our own people BEFORE we take care of third world countries who will never be able to rebuild and HELP THEMSELVES because our goverment has to step in and eed on the brownie points they get from doing such a thing. And to whomever believed my comment is a negative, is ignorant to these facts or does not care. Welcome to the United States of Ashamed Americans folks!

  • @ fxdrdnme

    -_-

I realized that was your point with the FIRST comment, which is why i posted the response I did.

    I'm not an idiot......

  • fxdrdnme - Most of the natural wealth is in third world country. We don't give things to countries. We get control of those assets by this so-called aid, which is really debt. Don't be naive.

  • @kuraisong *feed, excuse me

  • fxdrdnme - I suggest you learn about the rice wars in Haiti during the 1980s (Google - Miami Rice) or how we overthrew the government in 2004. Our hands are not clean. You are keeping yourself blissfully ignorant.

  • the fake world has unravelled and now back to the bush like the animals we are
