  • Great !! Mad about this album, every song is perfect.. Just downloaded this album for free at DownloadMusic/./im , remove the slashes..

  • He can't hold the camera still, the music has got him!

  • Modern prog-rock, nice =)

  • Belgian camerawork, can't beat it!

  • Hehe :)

  • OMG how awesome :) I love these guys :)

  • hahah yes, rekords rekords !

saw them at austin city limits.

    they melted my face off.

  • now all we need is records instead ove cds.....yeah boy

  • ALBUM OUT NOV 17th :-)

  • I can't wait for this album to come out because this is some hella good tunage.

  • all those cameras and nobody posted a video closer to the stage! Damn Belgians! haha

  • sounds great to me *--*

can't wait till i hold the album in my hands

  • Good stuff !

And that is funny about cell phones and cams. It used to a crowd of lighters, now it's a crowd of blue screens ! ;-)

  • release date in the US is november 24th

  • This sounds so sick....I hope they release this soon and tour in Georgia.

  • reminiscent of 'living colors' 'cult of personality'

  • haha, look at all of those cell phones/cameras.

btw a great looking band to come

  • anybody knows when to expect an album?

  • Yeah Josh Homme said in an interview sometime this year. He also said the band members agreed to not know the exact date (probably to avoid leaks). There'll probably be little to no notice before it's released.

  • aah great thanks, this year isnt that long anymore, still....... cant wait

  • oct 9th- TORONTO!

  • I didn't recognize him bald my bad

  • is that chris goss from masters of reality on guitar beside josh.

  • That is Alain Johannes from Eleven, and the last couple of QOTSA albums.

  • for lack of a better term

    that was redonculous

  • You're wrong; there's always a better term.

  • This sounds awesome without evening hearing the album, wow

  • stoner rock wasn't invented by rolling stone magazine. look up sludge metal or doom then repeat that.

  • does it matter, its just a stupid term, ......

a rose by any other name ...

  • anyone who says "stoner rock " is an idiot . Stop using terms invented by Rolling Stone magazine.

  • stoner rock is a legitimate genre of music...... i mean it seriously is.... wikipedia if you dont believe me, or google, the internets are your friend

  • Can't wait for these rock legends to play in Australia on Jan 26th 2010 whens the Album coming... these guys are going to go off.. not too be missed

  • seeing them 0ct 2 at acl fest

  • John Paul Jones is one half of arguable the best rythm section in Rock history !!

  • I think you should remove the word arguable from your comment to be honest.

  • not on par with those epic songs YOU have written ay?

  • screw the internet. I'm gonna BUY their album.

  • awesome

im seeing these guys in tn in October

    its gonna rock

  • same here!

  • Homme is just as much a rock legend as Grohl. Haven't you ever heard of Kyuss?

  • And QOTSA!!!!!!!! I like both but Homme is cooler.

  • QOTSA has trumped everything Kyuss has done. But agreed, Homme is just as much of a rock legend as Grohl. Kyuss aside he's contributed to the Desert Sessions, Screaming trees, Foo Fighters, Mastodon, has his own guitar named after him (The Maton JH series) as well as he has hosted more guest musicians than rap artists do, and he's gone platinum

  • Kyuss,Queens of the Stone Age,Eagles of Death Metal, the Desert Sessions and he has contributed to many, many bands ....So, yes, he's a rock legend :)

  • John Pauls strut walk of confidence :11 sec in. Good lord I love that man!!

  • JPJ has always been the tight one so there is no reason this group cant create somthing truely special

  • sounds very queens, sounds awesome.

  • iv ta start listenin zep!!! i it sounds qotsa ta me bu then again i dnt no zep.....i want to now!!!! this is the dogs bollox!!!! epic!!

  • wtf did you say

  • Yes, yes, yes, Marty. If you know what's good for you, listen to Zep. They'll change your world forever.

  • Comment removed

  • it's true.

it's interesting though how he totally applies to josh hommes talents and guitar playing technique. at the same time that it is probably him writing the groove it still reminds me of qotsa.

  • it sounds great ,I know that for certain .

  • This was insane.

  • true enough, i dont disagree at all.

either way, the cameraman zooms out later so you can see the whole band.

  • Whoever filmed this obviously had no idea that 2 ROCK LEDGENS are on stage because you never once put the camera on them!!!!!! John Paul Jones and Dave Grohl.

  • and you obviously have no idea how big josh homme is, and what a creative mastermind he is.

that being said, i do agree with what you said, especially about jpj.

  • i know who they are Nirvana, Led Zep foo fighters are one of my favorite bands (qotsa too). It was diffcult to film because i was away from them and im not very tall :).

  • and the sound is not too crappy, this is more important than who i filmed

  • @imtang0708 They all be rock legends broski

  • sexy boogie-rock!

  • Comment removed

  • sexy

  • Meh

  • it sounds like queens of the stone age playin zeppelin to me... not bad but i expected somethin different when i heard about this project..

  • wel dude u have josh hommes singin nd the its the basist frm zepplin so ya there ya go!

  • yeh i know that but i just thought they would try something different...

  • I know, where you're coming from dude. This shouts "Kashmir" to me for some funny reason. But think about it, it's so much more than some band trying to play Zep. There are three rock legends here, each have made their own very signifacant contribution to music. I don't think I need to illustrate examples, everybody knows these artists and how much Zep influence/history is involved. It's only natural for them to have the sound. That's what music is, emulate your idols, but make it your own.

  • I hope their other songs are better. The only good part of this song was the intro.

  • Cool, thanks for the vid!

  • could have been there, should have been there.

  • Sounds fricken dire. Enough hero worship...

  • i was there. it was super awesome.

  • who is the fourth member here?

  • Alain Johannes, or however it's spelt

  • So glad to see him working with Josh again. He was a great addition to QotSA. And Eleven were fantastic, so sad about Natasha and that we'll get no more Eleven.

  • alain johannes, genious

  • like u??

  • John Paul Jones, definitely the glue that held Led-Zeppelin together for so long.

  • Though unlikely because Eagles Of Death Metal are playing in Dublin tonight, if Them Crooked Vultures are supporting Arctic Monkeys I might be able to contribute a video... here's hoping!

  • thanks for these! i've been dying to hear complete songs!! thanks!!!

  • its everything i hoped it would be :D

  • I had a dream like this once.....am I awake?

  • supergroups, ive learned to never hav alot of hope. they tend to rely on their past fame from their previous projects. am i saying that for all supergroups? no. just things like audioslave and chickenfoot which rnt rlly bad still. i dunt think this is better than LZ, Queens, and Foo Fighters but i woulndt just loose faith after listening TO ONE SONG!!!!

  • listen to Temple of the Dog its practically Soundgarden and Pearl Jam formed as one, they wont disappoint

  • Don't undertstand how thats related? But yeah. they are awesome!

  • oh yea thats a supergroup that was freakin awsome. i love that band. they did it out of pure passion out of andy wood's death. most supergroups today do it for money

  • Gooodddddd dam!!! killer Ritm... Drums, Guitar anddd goodddd Dave on Drums is a monster

  • Grohl is insane behind a drum kit! Love it

  • Man, this is awesome, even though I can't appreciate the full amazingness of it because of the shit quality. I'm STOKED to see them live and to get their CD. waaaaah when will they come to the US again?!?!? they gotta show the golden state some love or I'm gonna shit a chicken.

  • lmao. i agree with you in every way. i too, will shit a chicken if they dont come out to la.

  • I can't wait to see them or get their CD and drive around blasting it.

  • Too right!

  • Uh-oh, somebody call the waaaahhhmbulance.

  • No one respects your opinion because you're being so damn hostile about it. When explaining that something is your opinion, there is no need to tell everyone else to fuck off. It makes you sound like a douche. You don't have to like it. I doubt anyone is holding a gun to your head and making you listen to this, so might I suggest you go listen to a band you do like?

  • HOLY SHIT, A PERSON WITH A BRAIN ON YOUTUBE? How are you unicorn man?

  • hey

    eat my balls

  • Kill yourself.

  • No penisbag

  • been there and it was a fantastic gig...

  • Guð minn almáttugur ..þetta klárar mig !

  • stop crying and go the a band u do like

  • Not gonna lie it's pretty fucking good, even with the crap quality.

  • who is the 4th guy?

  • Alain Johannes (Eleven, and has done works and toured with qotsa)

  • thanks mate

  • JKP and the other guy are entitled their opinions... but I have a hard time believing that you don't like this if you're a huge QOTSA fan. Do you mean that you love No One Knows and Go with the Flow? Or do you mean that on top of being able to listen to any QOTSA album pretty much straight through, you also have an appreciation for Kyuss and the Desert Sessions? And I don't mean that as an insult, I'm just curious...

  • I'm not huge with the first album, but the rest of them are fucking awesome, and Kyuss is, without a doubt, one of the greatest stoner metal bands of all time.

  • Stoner metal... really?

  • I agree with JKP im getting let the fuck down it seems like this shit was rushed

  • This is an awesome freaking jam. Josh is truly the best guitarist/musician of this century. He needs so much more recognition and hopefully TCV will get it for him.

  • go and listen to real rock like Miley cyrus

  • can u play/compose better than this? hummmmm...

  • "Could YOU write it?" Is one of the most retarded comebacks I've ever heard...could I? Probably. Would I make a bet on it? No. But that really doesn't have anything to do with me just not liking it, does it?

  • Uh oh, someone's a moron. That is you, JKP. You are the moron.

  • OH yes...I'm a moron because I don't agree with you little fucking nutswingers...grow up assholes. People are allowed to not like what you like.

  • dont talk shit

  • that's fine - go listen to the Jonas Brothers you little shit

  • Thanks for recording this. The audio is great! Can't wait for them to come over to the states and tour, but until then, thank god for fucking youtube.

  • this seems "The Fun Machine Took a Shit and Died"...

  • Badass!!!!!

  • wow look at all those cameras. i wonder if there was a 'no cameras' policy.

  • it's just the beginning :D

  • Amazing... just amazing!

Pretty damn good audio on this one as well, good job!

  • is that mr dave catching on guitar?

  • Alain Johannes

  • Sounds great

  • fleck yeah boys

can't wait for an australian tour??

  • It's times like these that I wished I lived in Belgium... Not often I get to say that!

  • They were FANTASTIC at Lowlands (netherlands) as well.. Weekend of my life :P

  • every summer we have the greatest festivals.. and if you look at the crowd you will know why bands like to play in Belgium.. where are you from anyway?

  • Relax... I've been to Werchter, thoroughly enjoyed it. Just a cheeky bit of satire! Nothing meant by it. Looks like my post got deleted though lol... I'm a Brit. Reeeally hoping that TCV play at Reading Festival, that'd be rather nice...

  • Likewise, in Australia I'm hoping that TCV will be at Big Day Out

  • Comment removed

  • Two days after the show i still hear the chorus in my head...and it's good ^^

  • I was referring to his drumming...

  • Dave IS the Baddest Fucker in the game....

  • sorry but josh homme has already taken that spot.(i like dave too)

  • your both trippin. Jones is the Mozart of rock and roll . A legend to those who understand true virtuosity .Josh and Grohl would tell you the same , I bet

  • Definately!

I can't beleive anyone would doubt JP

  • great song

the intro of elephants reminds me of the intro to battery acid by Qotsa

  • god yes... fucking awesome

  • Encore

  • song is called Elephants

  • HELL YEAH
