No, but this whole movie is literally a DMT trip. Or morespecifically, an Ayahuasca trip. DMT is the chemical responsible for dreams. It is also released during death,causing some to hypothesize that perhaps death might be like dreaming.

Anyway, in order to dream while awake, one must have doses of DMT in their system.
