Michael got the moves from her! ;) (Well, sometimes. I love them both, but they both borrowed heavily from one another. "Rhythm Nation" borrowed its style from "Captain EO"; "Bad" copied some of Janet's older choreography, but Michael sticks it better. This video was shot in the same location as "Smooth Criminal", "Black Cat" directly influenced the final portion of "Black or White"... you can go on!) They're both incredible artists whose work was used to inspire each other many times.

It's not surprising that there might be a few moves that remind us of MJ when we see Janet dance...that is her brother and they were close. She developed her own style tho over the years tho so there is no doubt about her being able to stand on her own...she always has been able to and proved that with the release of Rythem Nation...it's only sad that she has to. I'm glad that they were able to do Scream...she won't have that regret.
