@CrysisWarsII You can use the weapons that you steal from the cops, but they slow you down if you use a pistol and 2-handed weapons like the Shotgun and Assault rifle prevent you from climbing.

Though, FPS/TPS and RTS games are better to play on PC.

@martysmartylol It's about a freerunner named "Faith" ( As in Leap Of-----) and you are a courier who delivers messages between person to person (Although you only really deliver one ingame) and your sister is framed for the murder of a politician while you have to find out who while doing some cool running and jumping (Along with some sliding) around the city while pursued by some cops who seem to have orders to shoot like a pissed off cowboy. FUN!

I have a Radeon 4650 and I can't seem to enable hardware PhysX in Mirrors Edge.

Do I lose out on the Physx option just because I have an ATI chip (and NOT nVidia)? If that is so, I think that is very unfair considering ATI is the second biggest player in graphics technology.

I went to the ATI Spec page for the 4650 and it says that they can do physics!!!

My CPU is doing the physx calculations rather than the GPU but will ATI release a driver that supports hardware physx?

ati cards can do physics, but not the special coding that was developed by nvidia, PHYSx. it's an nvidia thing, so no, ati probably wont be receive physx capabilities anytime soon. they might release their own special software but not physx

By research do you mean googling? If so, i'll use your horrible way of learning things. Consoles run their games at a resolution of 1920x1080 with 0xAA

PC's can run their games with some higher graphical settings, at a resolution of 2560x1600 and plenty of AA.

I've seen friends playing their games with the HD connector on their big lcd tv's. They look decent but they have plenty of jagged edges that doesn't give nearly as good of a picture quality that a pc can give you.

@logitech4873 every game on consoles are optimized for ONLY 30 fps.. and the resolution isn't full HD.. nearly ALL games are rendered at HD ready resolutions.. which are resolutions like 1280x720 which is pretty lame.. they didn't have enough video memory for high res textures and resolutions AND AA to gather...

Not every game runs in 30fps, in example Wipeout HD runs in 60 fps @ 1080p. Still it manages to have fairly good graphics.

I didn't buy a console because i wanted it to outperform my GTX 280/i7 920 build, i simply bought it because i wanted something simply that has the games i can't play on my PC.

Oh, and i can now watch blu-ray videos without having to move my fully loaded CM 690 a2 case (Without a handle) to the living room where the 42" TV is..

A gaming PC is easily superior when it comes to processing power, though a console is superior when it comes to portability (in most cases) and simplicity.

But you gotta admit, they're managing to push the limited hardware in those consoles pretty damn far.

The graphics in this game are almost as good as Crysis in the urban setting i would say. Of course its hard to compare the 2 games considering ones in the dense jungle and the other is in the concrete jungle so they are rendering 2 completely different environments meaning different effects are being used. In Crysis for example, you can see shadows casted by the sun through the leaves just like you would in real life,(DX10)- Any crazy effects in Mirrors Edge that are cool?
