I am prety convinced that there wont be no MK game more exciting to play than MK Trilogy because of the game's speed and combos...it just doesnt compare to this one, the combos were longer and more brutal...I still cant wait for this game tho...the graphics are jaw dropping but the fact that you kill the other guy quickly with one special move is a turn off...I like my fights to last just like how in MK Trilogy u know? hopefully MK Arcade Kollection DOES come out soon

As a long time fan and player of the MK series, I gotta say I much prefer it in 2-d like how they brought it back as opposed to 3-d and having to memorize 3 fightin styles for each character. That's too much memorization. It made me limit myself to my favorite characters rather than use everyone Like how I've been doing in MK-MK4. I can't wait til this drops n I look forward to playin against long time fans of MK online on PS3. Peace y'all!

I really hope this brings the series back to the top. I loved the old games and always felt that the jump to a 3D plane just seemed to slow down the action too much for me. Also I hope that you can get old costumes for the characters too as miss the old simple designs for the ninjas.
