@Mojosbigstick actually, if you listen to it again, his answer was that he probably pursued her and was rejected enough so that he stopped trying and lost interest. But I agree, if you don't listen to the whole response, I can see how you might think his answer was the wrong way around.

Good teaching, but the question was "My wife wants sex more than I do".
His answer was the wrong way round.
