People deny evolution because its evidence contradicts their myths, climate change because it may affect their habits, and germ theory (vaccination efficacy) because it has been falsely linked to other conditions (i.e. autism). Do you understand or deny atomic theory, relativity theory, or quantum theory? These are not intuitive but all explain the observable evidence, as all scientific theories do.

He has also suggested a one-time tax on the net-worth of the rich, which would halve the national debt.

The 3/5 Compromise of 1787, had nothing to do with the individual slave, rather it decreed that a Slave State could only account for 3/5 of its slave population when allocating representation in Congress. If the 3/5 Compromise never happened, the South would have held the majority in Congress, and Slavery would have never ended! It was a means to an end, Genius... step your game up!

If the slave population was counted one for one, the Southern Slave States would have had more representation in Congress because of their bigger population (including Slaves) than the Northern Free States.
