    Thx

  • Great Joey! I love this! Keep up the great work! I also love all your tips and warnings, not like some of the others.

  • thanks guys, but how often should this be done? I only use gymnasts as an example because they are all ways training and the shoulders are constantly under load, I thought that you had to recover for days to grow

  • bodyweight man bodyweight

  • because its a light weight i understand its easier to stimulate, but how do you grow, feels as if i should do this every second day.. can someone explain why male gymnasts have great shoulders when they only train against their own body weight, never increasing to overload. how do they recover, if anyone could advise please

  • Bodyweight is the key. If you see the 3rd exercise I do - its the one that provides the MOST stimulation on the shoulder muscles - and that's the east version. I only use some dumbbells for parts of my workouts - and for the programs I teach me clients.

I'll post a video response in the video response area above this - take a look and watch it to the end to see my main shoulder move.

  • Sounds like you need PT first before you get non-specific exercise advice for an old injury.

  • Joey, I used to wrestle heavy lumps of clay on a potter's wheel - I think I strained my rotor cuff at the time but never gave me much pain that would have sent me to the doctor. However, since then that shoulder is much weaker. I have trouble doing the out to the side lifts - it doesn't take long before it wants to collapse on me. What exercises can I do that strengthen it without straining it?

  • I used to spend 45 mins on my 'gym' shouler workouts. I went through this one 4 times and took me about 23 mins - and it was one of the best shoulder workouts I've ever done.

I want More, More, More Joey!!!

    Great stuff - THANK YOU!!!

ps - Lou's gonna give this a go tonight when he gets home from work ;-)

  • Just did the shoulder workout - WOW! so simple but bigtime effective. And no pain either!!

My husband is doing it right now - with the weights a little heavier.

    Thanks Joey!!

    You are the BOMB!
