This game is nothing like Assassin's Creed. This game is MUCH harder than AC for one. You really have to think about your next move before you make it, in AC you can pretty much do what you want, because you know you wont die without a long drawn out sword fight first. If you make a bad decision in this game, it normally leads to death.

Assassin's Creed is great, but if you think this game anything like it you're soooo very mistaken.

Don't 4get Assassin's Creed has a free-roam environment (like GTA) and this one is linear.

Awesome game, graphics, musics, jogability, plot. I dont understand so many negative reviews. The only drawback is the long time betwen auto-savings. But I can live with it.

Beats me to. Bought this game after I've seen the lonesome valley walkthrough, really a great game with great atmosphere (though I can't compare it for it being my first stealth game). Don't understand the negative reviews, I found this game highly addictive. It's hard but not unfair. The only letdown is the Nazi-Soldier speaker, because it's only one. Yes, he speaks ever Nazi-Soldier in the game. If you are a native speaker this gets annoying.

@opiumrebel I find the game highly addictive too, even though i failed much of silent kills XD This game and Assassin's Creed games are awesome. Possibly because of the fictional (or non-fictional) story plot that took place long long (more long) time ago or probably the action/scenario takes place in an interesting places other than America....

There aren't any stealth games in set in America >.> Sam Fisher is always in South America (ok, touche~), or Europe... Very diverse cultures...

As for the reason it got terrible reviews, you can easily tell just from this video. The graphics are rather lackluster, the lighting is supportive to you in every way making things feel set up (who honestly leaves all the lights off when you are guarding some place? I mean really...), and the AI is terrible...
