"Never again will he walk out on stage" - was the thing that made me shed a tear the day it happened. It was at that point in time, I realised we would never see him again. That he was gone. Never again we'll hear him say "Good morning", "Amazing" or "Magical".
@revonvideo that is understandable- but probably could have been placed in a more strategic neutral setting since putting that on a memoriam for him appears spiteful
I'm watching this on a mbp 2008 model and its kinda sad because he walked out on stage and introduced the macbook pro in 2006 I'm never gonna sell this laptop it feels like steve is with me every time i use it
I love you and your songs as much as I loved Steve. We all share the same grief, despite the distance that separate us... Congrats from a fellow portuguese Steve and Apple admirer.
I love you and your song as much as I loved Steve. We all share the same grief, despite the distance that separate us... Congrats from a fellow portuguese Steve and Apple admirer.
I cant believe he is dead.. i just cant accept it.. he did not just look towards the future, he looked past the future.. :( i miss him allot and still can not believe that he is dead...
@TheMacShake uh what? i can't be the only one who thinks making a song hours after someone's death is a good thing... no matter what your intentions were. this is no proper way of paying respect. let the man be rested in his grave first for crying out loud.
@chaosinorderrr He makes a song every single day based on his own life and the news, Why would he just ignore such a major event such as Steve Jobs' death?
Why do you think a tribute song is a bad way of paying your respects? Especially as this song is both tasteful and beautifully expressive. Also in your first comment, you said he was 'cashing in' on the death. I really don't see how you reached this conclusion. He's not spoilt the song by putting a 'BUY MY SONGS NOW!' thing anywhere on this page. It's just his own way of saying how much Steve's death means to him as an Apple fanboy and fellow human being.
@goopmonkey cashing in = capitalizing. anyway drop it... someone just informed me that he makes a song everyday about current events n stuff.. if thats his shtick then im cool with the whole thing.
Good performance, beautiful gesture, but so so sad. I'm gutted. Good bye Steve, and thank you. We should all follow Steve's example and live life to the fullest. Steve Jobs was more than just Apple - his vision encompassed us all, and gave clarity to what we could be. Thank you for everything Steve.
My heart sank as soon as I opened Safari, and saw the images for my Top Sites page refresh....and was greeted with an Apple homepage with Steves picture, and "1955-2011". I sat there and stared for a couple of minutes before finally clicking it and going to Apples site, I just could not believe it and didn't want it to be true. For the past 11 years, ever since I was 13 years old, I have always looked up to him...
@joshjhutton I think this was actually a song he wrote a while ago for when this occasion happened. I'm pretty sure I'd heard it (or parts of it, anyway) before. Still, way to be classy.
