He does not prove it was a conscious entity let alone one that cares about you worshiping it. You would have been correct a thousand years ago, that the best reason to be athesit is because there is no evidence of God but now there is also evidence against it.
Indeed, there is evidence against every religion I have examined. However, it would be possible to posit a religion which we could not, even in theory, provide evidence against. But it would still lack evidence in favor. :)

I was born a Christian... held a deep belief in god for 20 years of my life. I have studied Christianity and many religions with great interest. I abandoned my beliefs when I suffered a great personal loss and to my shock God wasn't there. I understand religion and why people believe... I hold no ill will towards them, but I merely encourage thinking.

What i don't like is the thought of advertising Atheism. You should not have to. What we need is good education. With it comes Atheism. Nobody should call himself an Atheist because it is popular or common to do so.

I don't think you should drop the "atheism" at the end because, independent of the convenience of a youtube title, you wouldn't know what the commercial was speaking of necessarily.
I too would drop the Atheism at the end. Instead of ending being thoughtful, it ends up selling soap. The word Atheism is tainted to many people, but they may otherwise be open to ideas.
I really like it - however two tips for the video..
The suicide bomber part should be in all black and white.. the explotion while necessary is a bit distracting in color.
Another idea is maybe to remove the slogan/voiceover at the end, and just end with 'and if this is the end, so be it.....(text only - atheism)". The voiceover/slogan at the end makes me feel like I am supposed to purchase Atheism, while I feel this ad is supposed to show things about the beliefs.
It's nice, but the ending kinda makes it seem like I'm about to go to target and buy myself a new 40 dollar container of Atheism.

Religion is a way of life i can agree with that if you call LIFE praying every day, spending hours in church's, temple's and the like and trying to get after-life insurance then yeah sure, religion is a way of life.
But i see life as living the way you want to, not what some old, sexist book which is full of lies and stolen tales tell me to do.

the way i see, death isnt going to be bad. everything scienific points to the concious mind ending. when you were born your concious mind was created, when you die it will end. i do not fear death simply because when it comes, iw ont know it, or anything, i wont feel pain. it wont be bad at all. life is a transitional period, from dead to dead. i dont let it bug me.

Well, I'm Jewish and believe in G-D=] But I don't care what happens after death, we don't believe in hell and everyone mixed ideas about heaven.

Worrying about dying is foolish - on consideration.
1. Most people die slowly, through age so by the time they are close to death they have little left to live for.
2. Other people who die prematurely for them, in most cases death is so sudden (eg car crash) that there is absolutely nothing they can do about it.
3. Death itself, cannot cause suffering as you don't exist.
4. Knowing we are going to die - motivates us. If we knew we lived forever, we would get nothing done.

I don't mean to belittle your comment, but no one can really "know" there is a God. You can have strong faith, but its called faith for a reason. I agree with you on the point that a lot of atheists are in it to bash all forms of spirituality... if you have a need to believe in a God to feel that your life is important.. I have no problem with that... but what I do have a problem with is when theists translate that "faith" and add things like "God hates Fags" to it.

He does not prove it was a conscious entity let alone one that cares about you worshiping it. I have hope still. I do not believe for a second that the world was created in 6 days. I never have been able to. I do not see sense in the bible myself. I still have hope. I have hope that I will live a good life, that my son will grow to be a good and honorable man that makes his decisions only when he's informed about them. I was born a Christian... held a deep belief in god for 20 years of my life. I have studied Christianity and many religions with great interest. I abandoned my beliefs when I suffered a great personal loss and to my shock God wasn't there. I understand religion and why people believe... In any case, homicide comes out to barley even a percentage point in overall human death. Think about CANCER, HIV, HURRICANES, FLU, DVTs, HEART ATTACK, STROKE, TSUNAMI...the list can go on forever. I have reasons for being atheist, but honestly I nor does anyone else actually need any reason to be atheist.
One can be an atheist simply for the fact that there isn't any evidence to believe in the existence of gods, etc.

I like the video. It is very well done and atmospheric.
What i don't like is the thought of advertising Atheism. You should not have to. What we need is good education. With it comes Atheism. Nobody should call himself an Atheist because it is popular or common to do so.
Like no Religion should be taught or sold by anyone, neither should Atheism.

I too would drop the Atheism at the end. Instead of ending being thoughtful, it ends up selling soap. The word Atheism is tainted to many people, but they may otherwise be open to ideas.

I really like it - however two tips for the video..
The suicide bomber part should be in all black and white.. the explotion while necessary is a bit distracting in color.
Another idea is maybe to remove the slogan/voiceover at the end, and just end with 'and if this is the end, so be it.....(text only - atheism)". The voiceover/slogan at the end makes me feel like I am supposed to purchase Atheism, while I feel this ad is supposed to show things about the beliefs.
