The Lakers better win a lot of championships considering they have that much money. Boston has to wait 20-30 years for a big trade when Lakers get big trades and signings every 3-4 years. To me, the Lakers have underachieved with how much talent they have had in their franchise over their history.

Are you guys talking about Minneapolis Lakers who went undefeated in the finals, or the LOS ANGELES lakers who are 2-9 all time against the boston celtics in the finals, and who lost 7 or 8 straight in a row at one time i believe. out of 30 finals appearances the Lakers have won 15, a record of .500 in the finals. Out of 20 finals appearances the Celtics won 17, a record of .850. So the Lakers have won 2 less finals then the Celtics and they have been to the finals 10 more times then them, and out of the 11 times they played the Celtics in the finals they lost 9 of them. That would mean that the Celtics are better then the Lakers...

statistically speaking, the lakers franchise has been the most successful nba franchise in the histoy of the nba. they have the highest winning percentage, the most wins, the most playoff appearances. so when us laker fans say we're the best, facts back it up. and when we have more championships than the celtics, which should occur soon, we we'll truly be the best franchise, arguably in all professional american sports.
