I was hit by a drunk driver and survived. It was horrible!! I never even saw her coming when she slammed into us.. The worst was fighting her insurance company. Just to pay for the hospital bills..I didn't even think about compensation, I was too busy trying to heal and pay the bills that I should not have ever been made to think about. I have never gotten behind the wheel of a car drunk..Nor have I ever put myself in that situation. Ironic that it would happen to me as well as your family.
