I bought that very same compilation, There was a lot of garbage on it but it led me to discover Morphine, Tindersticks and, If I remember correctly, Gallon Drunk, so I don't regret it.

Yup. Got it from a collection of a British magazine i had bought in the early 90s.

The song was later changed and included in their 1995 LP 'Yes'. This one is my favorite version.
