  • yay foxit

  • I love FOXIT pdf reader! I been using it when they first came out. They are so much faster than the adobe pdf reader.

    5/5 !

  • Great video

  • wow nice video and a really useful piece of software, thanks alot.

  • This is a fantastic video.

He talks like he is a member of staff for Foxit.

Very fluent speaking, no hesitations, knows his stuff, brilliant :)

  • Thank you :)

  • I use Foxit PDF editor to edit PDF files, but Adobe reader to read them. I find that Adobe reader is faster and in general just better at certain things I use.

  • if you try "Nitro pdf reader" you will be amazed how fast it is and how many options you have

  • @valessakis hi, from what i heard Nitro actually use Foxit's rendering engine for their apps, so their speed should be similar

  • You should try Foxit Phantom. It is really fast at reading and you can do editing and many other thing.

  • i use preview 

  • me too 

  • woo! thanks for uploading. im about to download it!

  • I'm gonna make the switch from Adobe. Thanks for the brief explanation of Foxit.

  • switch to mac not foxit xD

  • Excellent. I learnt that tomorrow I have to download this to my computer!!!

  • Foxit Reader FTW!

  • The best screencast so far. gj :)

  • hey... i just wanted to know where you got the mac cursor...

i have a cursor exactly like that on my laptop (which is running vista) but i wanted to know what method or program you used...

  • "it almost opens instantaneously"

I often make similar errors on my tutorials.

    I leave 'em in.

  • awsome screencast

  • wow he did a great job

  • Great screencast. He did a great job!

  • No, I didn't use adobe, I used a dome to read pdf...

  • is that mac OS X or vista???

  • Vista with OS X tools i think.

  • Vista, for sure.

  • lolololol

  • Ive used it before and loved it but great tutorial MKBHD

  • Know whats funny?

I won't ever use this but I installed it :P

  • Google and Apple have integrated pdf reading support into their products. If they wanna take on Adobe in the HTML 5 vs. Flash battle, they might as well go all the way ^^

  • Your OS is a Mac OS X wannabe =P

  • Haha MkbHD, one of my favorite screen casters :D

  • I actually just opened a 114-page PDF in Adobe Reader 9 and it opened right away, so it probably differs computer to computer.

Also, Adobe lets you collaborate online.

You can underline and insert sticky notes.

I will concede that there's no paintbrush or pencil tool, though. I guess Foxit has that going for it.

I also just copied and pasted something from a PDF without having to switch it to a text document.

  • For collaboration, try the On Demand CM tool from within Foxit.

  • quite similar to adobe pdf 7.0 professional.

  • RC @arnXboxElite foxit reader ftw :)

  • foxit reader ftw :)

  • Great Vid.

  • not to shabby, i have no use but i see how it could be useful :]

  • Cool, but you can do almost all this stuff in Preview (mac)
