@TheTerrorUforgot I agree 100 percent. I have been doing BJJ for about a year and 8 months and judo for 3 or 4 months, and they compliment each other perfectly and you learn pick both of them up so quickly when you do them together.

@nofear45465 Listen guys Judo and Jiu-Jitsu are not really seperate arts. Jigoro Kano, the creator of Judo was a Jiu-Jitsu Master when he created Judo, Judo came from the techniques of Jiu-Jitsu. What people mistake is that Jiu-Jitsu didn't have throws or locks and it did. If you read on Jigoro he will tell you in his books that he added throws and refrained from adding the killing techniques of Jiu-Jitsu into Judo, but most of what Judo is is from Jiu-Jitsu and that includes the armbar!

i like jacare he actually takes down his opponents instead of just pulling guard. BJJ is a practical self defense art takedowns are an important part of it.

@tyebo87 Jacare must be doing judo within his training. He has way too beautifull throws for bjj, which I agree lacks them terribly. As well as judo should be thought the way Kano created it. Turteling, no ne-waza, olympic rules,... are just plain stupidity.
