@driven2u2 - Many of us have fallen somewhere along the way in our walk and had to get back up and try again. I would suggest just going back to listening to or reading the word and praying for starters. You know spiritual warfare, so start casting the demons out that you know are there and take it one day at a time. - I pray the Lord guides you and helps you each step of the way! ~ Glynda

Doesn't God put a "hedge" around us and protect us from actual demonic or satanic contact? I'm thinking we are having to battle the infectious nature of sin but not actually the unclean spirits. Would appreciate scripture for guidance cause I'm not real sure.

@SilverStar40 - There's no hedge I am aware of, and apparently there wasn't one around Jesus either, because a large part of His ministry was setting people free from unclean spirits. I can't remember about the Apostles, I'll have to look, but numerous people encounter them face to face - I know I have. As long as we live in a fallen world, we will have contact with them.

Is there any Scriptures that shows us that satan knows and can see the spiritual calling on our life from the time we're in our mother's womb?

If you look at Isaiah 48:8, .... wast called a transgressor from the womb. This scripture shows a label visible/name in the womb. Isaiah 49:1: Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, ye people, from far; The LORD hath called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother hath he made mention of my name. Isaiah 49:5: ....And now, saith the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant. Since satan is of the angelic realm, there's no reason to believe he cannot see these marks.

I'm near Dallas, Texas. No, as far as I know I don't have the swine flu, I am only leaving my house when it is absolutely necessary and then I use so much hand sanitizer it's a wonder I have any skin left when I get back home :-) I just moved back to Texas in March, I think it's the pollens and all that, I've been fighting it since I got here!

(last comment) To this day I still struggle with the root of rejection because I put up walls of protection against others and its hard for me to have relationships. I push them away. Its easy to trust God, but not so much others.

(my comment pt 2) How Satan opressed me during childhood... I grew up in a family where both parents were alcoholics. I was molested by an uncle between the ages of 6-7. My family moved 18 times between my 2nd & 16th birthdays, I changed schools 15 times. I faced constant rejection and mistreatment by my family and peers. I was suicidal at 14-15... convinced God had made me unlovable.

You sure did go through terrible things when you were growing up. I feel sad reading what you wrote, but I will pray for you to have strength to overcome everything bad.

I think that sometimes when we go through bad things when we are young, it gives us and opportunity to find the Lord sooner. I noticed this with myself. Many kids/teens who had an easier growing up period seemed to focus on wordly things that made them "happy." Most didn't seek Jesus.

That's alot to go through - there are many demonic spirits that gain entry when those kinds of things happen but God can reveal and help us to get free of every one of them. God bless you, my friend.

Thank you for this series. Its kind of like what I have been asking God to lead me to... all my questions on what I have dealt with. I totally relate to the "root of rejection" and also having the high calling of God, how Satan afflicts us in childhood... I had a lot of prophetic dreams starting in early childhood, and one in which an angel appeared to me and said Jesus was going to watch over me my whole life (cont.)
