I am gonna be honest., Sonic would beat Mario, but it would be a tough fight. Sonic's speed is just too much for Mario. EVERYONE knows that speed tires out strength and Sonic has pretty mean strength too! Sonic can also go Super and has more friends to help him out. All Mario's got is Luigi.... Its like 5 against 2. (Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow vs. Mario and Luigi) Two of the people on the Sonic team could beat them both even without help.
