the reality is goku lost alot of battles in dbz but the anime still overates goku. sure he's the main character but lets be realistic without gohan goku would've died tons. he saved goku from vegeta, frieza, cell, cell jrs, garlick jr, cooler and tons other. goku lost against 19, cell, tien, and many others. goku havent lost any battle my ass. he lost alot. dbz gave alot of equality between characters but how goku is viewed as superior bothers me. he gets almost all the credit for team victory

@MaxFlared no he didn't lose against 19 he got his heart virus in the middle of the battle so 19 technically won but didn't really win

@aneonfoxtribute actually he lost because of the heart virus. but piccolo said in anime that vegeta was stronger than goku at that moment even at his full power state. goku lost there's no getting around it. you know why? because he used too much blasts and let 19 absorb too much of his energy. yes he did have a heart attack but this was insignificant to the amount of energy he gave 19. goku lost on way or another. and he technically didn't win you make no sense he LOST!

@aneonfoxtribute and it's irrelevant to say that he won because he had a heart attack. you mean he lost because of the heart attack. his body was at poor health performance and his decisions about letting 19 absorb his blasts were poor. saying that goku won that fight is same thing as saying that a lancer x lost a race to bmw m3 because it had broken suspensions but it technically won because it was the suspension's fault. think about it.
