The exhaust shakes becuase is very close to the engine, so in a fast start the engine shakes as the rear tires tries to get grip, so the exhaust. Clarkson is an idiot, this car is awsome! Best handling car under $100k according to C&D.

Clarkson is just wrong on this one for sure. It looks way better than the regular "bar of soap" shaped boxster and boxster s models. It looks faster, sportier, and just better overall from every angle, especially from the rear! The top could be a pain in the rain, but I can check the forecast in seconds on my mobile and as for the floppy door handles? they are door handles!!! Who gives two shits? Looks better and performs better while doing it!!!

I'm really glad they had James drive this car. Unlike Hammond and Clarkson, James has a very open mind and doesn't let stereotypes influence his reviews. He therefore likes the Boxster because it is easily the best raodster on the market, rather than view it as a "poor man's 911" like his co-presenters do.

The newest members (who are plenty wealthy) are buying Cayman S's and R's and race modifying them.  They are unquestionably the fastest cars on the track, and GT3's are struggling to maintain pace, especially in the corners. The Boxster/Cayman is the superior car, end of story. People still buy the 911 b/c they don't know any better.

I was just on the Porsche website and I loved everything I read about the Boxter Spyder. I love the car's minimalist nature and all the design elements that evoke Porsche's proud racing history. I wonder what Eberhard Schulz would think of it. Personally I think it's a modern interpretation of his Isdera Spyder which itself was a 1980's interpretation of the 1950's Porsche 356.
