i still rmbr we have to recite the whole of surah Ar-Rahman w/o reference for my exam in madrasah in Sec 5. & i feel proud tt i can accomplish a feat. did ya'll know tt those who memorize all the surah in the Koran, every verse & every chapter, di hari akhirat, after Judgement Day, their parents will be given the purest of the pure gold in a form of e cloak. Di samping itu, Koran adalah penyejuk hati.

May Allah SWT give us the strength to live the light. We as an Ummah say we believe but do we really? If so, on the Day of Judgment, how can we justify allowing those we love and care about to go on living in the darkness? Allah wills who he wants and although there is no compulsion in Islam, we must still share the message, but the number one way to do that is by our own examples as Muslims. The Ummah needs leadership.Those with knowledge need to step up and lead! Those without, learn!

I was raised a christian, and reverted to Islam last year in febuary (alhamdoulillah), and i believe, that a christian, doing what you are doing, and who says what you are saying, are on the right way, and this i hope you are feeling in your heart brother. @TheBlacklist01 Wa salaam, pleasant suprise to hear from you!! Thankyou!! Subhan Allah we are all still together. We live in Australia and made a trip to the UK for 2weeks which we planned prior to hearing of the health news. My mother has lost weight which was expected, but again, thanks to Allah we are all here still. We are optimistic as can be. around 2% survival rate and Inshallah we stay together for many years. I thank you from my heart for remembering and indeed asking.

@TheBlacklist01 Sorry had to type again as used all letters up. Recently heard with Steve Jobs of Apple passing that he had pancreatic cancer also. And with some surgeries he lived 8years. my mother's case is inoperable. So if Allah will her 8years and/or more, I would be hugely greatful. As it stands things are moving as expected with decline in weight and say stamina with day to day things, BUT I always ask Allah for time and am thankful for every minute. Again, THANKYOU for asking :)

That is what I find to be such a beautiful aspect of our religion--when we receive blessings from Allah, we are grateful and Allah is pleased with us, and when we go through the most difficult of times, we are patient and turn to Allah for help, and he is once again pleased with us (and inshaAllah He has taken something/someone from us in this life so he can reward us more in al-akhirah). It's really a win-win situation for the true believer. Alhumdulilah

My mother was told few weeks back that now in addition to the pancreatic cancer she has some spots on her lungs and it has become noticeable in the lymph nodes. The plan Inshallah is to seek treatment via radio wave therapy in another state from where we live. Subhan Allah, we are still together and keeping positive and Allah Willing we may be together for a long time in the future from now. And thankyou from my heart.

very interesting- I am a geology student and this surah is very interesting because it has alot to do with earth and its habitat- What's most shocking is that 1400 years ago, Allah has spoken to us of glaciers "mountains that float on water, acting like ships". Glaciers are huge masses of ice that erodes the landscape and carries sediments wherever it goes. Its in constant motion, just like a ship! mashallah
