Thats the beauty if you ask me, of Mark Knopflers music. The lyrics are often quite simple, written as random commentary on life or on a situation, and even though those lyrics can be quite powerful at times, they serve mostly to give background to what the guitar is saying. Ive always felt Mark Knopfler has vocal chords, but uses his guitar to say what he really feels. Every song a composition! Thank you Mark for enriching my life with your awe striking guitar playing!

When I was in college and I wanted to ace an exam, I'd get a six pack of Coors and turn on Dire Straights and study away while listening to Art Bell after listening to Larry King (on radio). Then, at about 2.30 a.m. after pounding down the beer, it was on to a couple of pots of coffee till crashing about 5.30 a.m. After a couple hours of sleep, I'd always ace the exam. Thanks to Dire Straights for helping me stay on the dean's list all of those years down in Lincoln. :)

@MrBrendanfox73 Yes, it is. I got both the DVD and the CD version (big Dire Straits fan). Amazon.com has it in stock but you can probably get it from other online shops as well. Don't know about regular music shops though, here in my country they only stock up on crap like Lady Gaga and other present day crap.
