  • Punch Drunk Love isn't chauvinistic, as chauvinism implies a superiority over another gender and Adam Sandler's character is far from that. This could easily be a burn for many other reasons but any claim of chauvinism is ridiculous and people who put out this sort of slander seem to be exuding a victim mentality or just have no idea of what the term means.
