Unboxing my new Core 2 Duo E8500

I GOT this processor in my xps 630i at 3.1 ghz and not even unclocked i can run bc2 oh high settings with no lag with a gtx 560 superclock edition.

2 quad = 2 dual core (2+2=4)

Core 2 duo- high grade 2 cores

Core 2 quad (outdated)- four cores

Core i5 (replaced core 2 quad) - 4 cores 8 threads

Core i7- 4 cores 8 threads

Core i7 is the best out right now, The core i9 is coming out with 6 cores and 12 threads.

It does already have some on (the heatsink) but it's not very efficient, you should use you own.

Gives better contact between the heatsink and the CPU and transfers the heat to the heatsink.
