When Ichigo touched the sword, it was his will that allowed him to take back his sword. There can only be one Zangetsu sword, and Ichigo took it back.

It might be that Ichigo's *will* overtook the hollow, like how it overtook tensa zangetsu.

I think this is really just a test for Ichigo, to see if he'd realize that he needs to take zangetsu back to win--if he had just let the hollow take zangetsu out of him, hollow ichigo would have eventually killed him because he "failed the test," and subsequently becoming King himself.

If it's a test, then hollow ichigo already knows how to win and won't "cheat" by taking over Ichigo. Just my opinion.

Allow me to give a lil more explanation on this :P

Kurosaki can be translated as dark, or black destiny, because ichigo wears black, his sword is black and everything.

So, the fans dubbed ichigo's hollow Shirosaki which translates as white destiny, for reasons we all understand.

Ogihci isnt fangiven, its fantranslated. The kanji for hollow ichigo in japan is the reverse of ichigos. Thats why.
