I went to see this in Benelmadena, Spain while they were touring. It really is amazing, even though i hate irish dancing! no videos can tuly do it justice, you have to be there! Dancajo is sooooooo lucky!

I've heard that the dancers of Spirit of the Dance only learned Irish dance for the show. I don't know the truth of it, but it wouldn't surprise me. They are nowhere NEAR the level of the world champions who dance in Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. The whole show just seems...subpar and just not worth it.

They are all the same group of dancers from riverdance and Lord of the dance aswell.

That's true, they are trained dancers but they trained in ballet, modern and tap at musical theatre colleges. No real Irish dancer would go into a show like this.

I saw them in England and they were okay, but onyl okay but when I got the video home they had the terrible American show with people who could not even dance. And on this one they even changed the lyrics. But if it was put on by toddlers then it would be quite good.

I got lucky enough to get to see Spirit of the Dance for an entire summer in 2005...they were performing in Texas for the whole summer. The show is amazing and they are some of the most awesome people I have ever met. They put so much work into everything they do!

when they came to portugal i went to see them.they realy realy realy suck!! Good lord! even the sound of their shoes was playback!can you believe it?? not one dance looked like the traditional irish "lord of the dance". I was so sad in the end of the show,so disappointed, i just yelled "give me my money back!!!"...they suck!
