Hehe, we went to Disney World last February with my family. We were seven, had a nice time but I gotto admit that after five days in the parks you sorta feel for a nice long day of doing nothing at the beach. So any pics of you in here? I'm curious :)
'Time of Our Lives.' I don't know who it's by, but it's on 'Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants' soundtrack, and also was in 'Into the Blue' (when the guys are on the jetskis)
I worked at Chef Mickey's in Contemporary Resort my first program (this vid), this time (as in, right now :D) I work at Typhoon Lagoon - I'm a lifeguard.
I loved my CP (Spring Advantage 06 as well!)i'm actually going down for another in the fall. But yeah, it is a job, but a fun one. The whole experience of really what you make of it though. And the living experience would be similiar to college life. You have time to meet plenty of people and do all kinds of stuff around LBV and Orlando!
oh yeah .. its a party every night. and its called "vista lay" for a reason all you do is drink and hook up with people.... this guy once told me he slept with at least 20 people while in his program !!
what job did you have cause i was thinking about transportation or something like that... and then like the hotel thing but i knew a girl who went and made beds all day every day...
if you have any other suggestions please do tell... i want to have a really great time..thx
Know this - it is a JOB. Just because you'll be working at WDW does NOT mean that it's going to be all fun. I worked at Chef Mickey's as a hostess - a seater. It was probably one of the easiest jobs out of what everyone else had (I am so jealous of my roomie - she loved her job, and she was a cashier). My dream job, and I heard they're looking, is driving the Safari. I believe that is considered operations. I'd suggest anything in attraction operations (I can't be sure that's what it's called).
KSR has a high turnover rate from what I have heard...so their always looking for safari drivers. I'm doing ops this fall, and I'm hoping for KSR...or Everest, I think it would be an interesting to experience new and different things in and outside the safari truck everyday.
Yeah, that makes me hope!! ^-^v And I'm a good driver, so it'd just be fun for me, and talking with a steady group of ppl for twenty minutes? Hooshah! Sorry, hyper tonight, LoL. Good luck, hon!!
hey how was the CP? ever since my friend told me about it, i've wanted to actually ask someone who's been there how it went... i mean i would LOVE to do it... but i still have to ask how it was...
It was amazing!!! My onlu suggestion is to tell them on the phone interview where you would like to work - my job sucked. I didn't play in the parks enough - go every day if you can!! I would recommend it to anyone!!
