  • May I ask when its out side all year do the tracks some time need to be replaced ?

  • Is your garden railway out all year or do you put it a way in the winter?

  • @penninefilms It lives outdoors all the time my friend. It is currently suffering terrible frost-bite due to snow!!

  • @steampics Aw...Poor railway... I like the title of the railway as my second name is Sunderland but my teachers usually call me Sutherland by mistake!!!

  • You have a Tri-Ang VR B class! I would have loved to see that run... a B class was my very first loco back at Xmas 1967! Great stuff, keep it up! :o)

  • will we c another diesel gala this year??

  • You may, the railway is in consideration. We'll see what sort of comments we get from the Winter Steam Gala 2010 vid's (out next week). The Diesel Gala could feature a 50, 47, 08 and 31 with a possible Class 58 visitor. Nothings confirmed yet though. Did you see our Mixed Traffic Gala last year?? We may repeat that this year, depending on how we feel! Any comments??

  • @steampics you could do a Trains Spotters ball or anything goes weekend where u run all locos!!

  • That isn't possible mate! lol. If we ran everything that we own then we'd be looking at least 30 steamers and about 5 or 6 diesels out on the line so its just not possible! I try to make gala's and video's sort of realistic, hence the tenderfirst running and realistic train weights etc. We are considering a GWR 175 weekend to keep up with recent trends! lol. That would see three Panniers, two Prairies, a 14xx, a King, a Mogul, a Taffy possibly a 3rd Prairie as a guest. Lots of ideas. Comments??

  • GWR 175 go for it!!

Any Chance of an NRM weekend with 34051, 4472, 4468, and the other NRM locos??

  • Possible but cannot really say as 4468, being such a detailed modelled, doesn't take well to some of the joints on the railway. However, 34051 is appearing at the gala this weekend and 4472 may appear during the year just so she is seen out and about. There are pics of this restored and repainted locomotive on the website (see channel for link). Cheers.New thing for the winter gala is fast TPO mail pick-ups, or so we're hoping!

  • Stepney Down Has managed to fit a coupling to the OB end of the OB Car!!

  • Does this railway stay out in alol weathers, if so, which track do you use?

  • Yes it does my friend. We use Hornby track which, as standard, is silver coated and so is weather proof. However, some sections are also Peco which is also weather proof but seems to have strong more durable sleepers. Good Luck

  • could you make a website for your railway use webs id brilliant

  • If you go to our channel's page there is already a website...the link is on there...Cheers

  • could i also ask what gauge the railway is please, i'm curious. at first i thought it was 00, but i'm not sure... lol

  • yh it is 00

  • why are nearly all of your locos modern image? and why is the Deltic missing its buffers? on the whole good vid. i like the detail and effort that has gone in to making these vids. i haven't yet seen one that i havent enjoyed watching. 5*

  • great watch weldone !! 5stars no probs

  • Thanks and thanks for watching. Need to get some more vids of the railway done soon, when it becomes warm enough for it to be "comfortable" to work outside. Cheers

  • top marks

  • grate vid 5 star.

  • whats the deltic called

  • great video 5 stars

  • cheers mate.look out for more coming soon.

  • Ha, a scale speed of 400mph!

I like to run at scale speeds for realism, but all my models have flywheels unlike hornby rubbish (or a lot of it)!
