  • @evanzarsazproduction Sept 19, 1947

  • @evanzarsazproduction USAF was formed in 1947.

  • @FrankSinatra49 , AF Drill Team has been going strong and steady since 1948.

  • im one of the members of the drill team right now. we have to travel nearly 300 days throughout the year. yes they are bayonets. have to be careful thou when we throw the weapons to each other, or something like a bayonet going thru someones arm, which that just happened not too long ago. any questions about honor guard or the drill team feel free to message me.

  • i feel so dumb. im on the armed AF JROTC drill team, nd im not even close to being this good. omg, they are great.

  • i guess my Master Chief got the idea of one of our moves wich we call the guantlet may be from them unless they may not have been around for 14 years my drill team has and we do a move called the guantlet we are from crook county look us up these guys are really good though

  • I think the Air Force has the best Silent Drill team!

  • @Ghostwolf10000 yea, i think its pretty close between the navy and air force, they do more spins but the army and marines do a lot more showmanship and crowd pleaser stuff

  • do they have fucking knifes or bannets or watever??

    on the end of them?

  • @lightman225 Yes, there are Bayonets on the ends of the rifles.

  • @lightman225 bayonets...:P

  • that may be true, but the air force also has higher educational standards than the marines, no offence to marines, i want to be one too, but they dont have the same education as air force

  • Don't worry, I don't take offence. On the same note, with all due respect, if you want higher education, go to college. At least in the Marine Corps, we want warriors, not civilians in uniform. That's the problem with our military; people want to join for the "free college" instead of joining to defend the ideals and principles of our nation, like past generations did.

Good luck in the Air Force!

    Semper Fi!

  • i am a para jumper for the usaf and i did it or the college but i am saving lives everyday so its nice man but i was a devil pup in high school

  • you are so right on the money Jim

  • not really, you get that in all services. i tried to join the royal marines, but i'm now in the air force. once i finish technical training i hope to go on to do bomb disposal which would put me outside the wire pretty much on the frontline, so you never can tell. respect.

  • im in the usaf im a para rescue apr and you will love it but the marine is right you should be doing it cuz of the patriotic ideals not just for college i am working to go to university of florida when i get out in four years

  • i couldnt disagree more jimmini1983. actually that drill far exceeds what the army and marine corp do. we dont remove our cover or our blades.we also dont alter our weapons to make them lighter as the aforementioned drill teams do.every branch has warriors, we simply approach it with intelligence.oh and for the record,we Never traded u.s. secrets for sex .civilians in uniform?dont know 'em. but ill take them over traitors/warriors in uniform.

  • That was stupid eveyone helps in the fight.

  • 2:12 watch the 2 row 2nd element

  • Airforce drill team has kicked marine corpse ass latley

  • you spelled it wrong. Marine Corp

  • Helluva drill especially for being a buttless drill!!!

  • Nice A1C E-3 Tony Dot'o Lackland A.F.B.

On to Tech school (Comm Coll Of the Air Force)

  • Best military drill team is the Marines Silent Drill Platoon!!OORRAAHH!!!

  • i think the US army is better due to the fact that i was one

  • The Army is for grunts.

  • I disagree the Air Force Silent Drill team is the best!

  • I disagree the Air Force Silent Drill team is the best!

  • @PRToxic Have you even seen the the US Army drill team? Check out the vid on youtube and tell me the Marines are better. They just have prettier uniforms.

  • pretty impressive stuff

  • the best wowowowow

  • this is so great. amazing to watch

    C/Airman Stoltz, CAP

  • Im talking about Grand Nationals

  • oh that's next week. r u goin? i was talkin about the 2008 Air Force Nationals

  • JROTC people calm down. i took the NATIONAL CHAMPS TROPHY!!!!na jk but whhich one of you is lying.??INTEGRITY FIRST SPEAK UP !!post up the video. and whoever doesnt is a liar

  • This video rocks! That was an awesome drill. What nobody knows is that we had to rewrite the entire drill 10 minutes before we went out. We usually drill with 16 people but the space was so small we had to cut down to 12. That means all new step counts for everyone. Oh yeah, the grass was wet too! That means no butting because your gloves would get wet and the weapon would slip. So that means modified sequences as well. That's why the Air Force is 'Above All'!

  • i am on an AFJROTC Drill Team and we just won NATIONALS. we are really good, but they are ridiculous. nice video.

  • Your a fucking liar , im from Flour bluff high school ,and we are the national champions

  • kid im from coventry high. we won the armed division on March 28, 2008. we took first overall by nine points. im not a friggin liar.

  • Rahway's the National Champs. Dick. :)

  • haha i so saw that, the dude at 2:17. But Iliked it still.(:

  • if you guys think thats impresive, look at the 4-man. four guys just like that in a square, i guy in middle, and the guys are have th bayonets about 3 inches from middle guys face, he doesnt flinch a bit

    C/Airman Loughman, CAP

  • The dude at 2:17 also messed up at the beginning when their getting into line, hes the last one to turn.

  • What mess up in the beginning are you talking about? At what time?

  • I see a lot of mistake.. Such as in the incorrect space between the feet on 3:41 the the 4th person

  • A lot? You pointed to one thing that is not a mistake. I'll tell you why. Since there is a great degree of difference in the height of the individual members (5'8 to 6'6), the spacing between the feet is not going to be the same for each guy. Each guy has different stability needs for his own body makeup and weight to maintain balance and posture. We teach our guys between 6 and 8 inches. After reviewing the video and looking at your point, our guys are well within their 6 to 8 inches.

  • omg dude umm i thought id never see it happen but a dude messed up!!!! at 2:17 the dude in the middle front row (on the side facing the camera) he didn't turn with the rest of them!!!...but still i agree with the guy that shot this video....it was bad ass XD

  • Man, those guys were dead on with everything. The slaps, the steps, everything at the exact same time. Something my AFROTC Det. could learn from.

  • hımmm nice video beautiful show :)

    Hello usa :@

  • slowest march I've seen yet, but I've gotta admit...best rifle handling. Sharp.

  • @jabbadu431 *Cough* I know your comment is from two years ago but I’m still going to fault you for not knowing. You know the march is intentionally slow right? What do you know about military drills young gun?

  • @DjAntomattei My comment was a simple observation of this particular drill on its face and not a failure to appreciate any depth of meaning nor a comparison of its discipline to other drills as you seem to have assumed here. Calling into question my total knowledge of military drills is a bit of a leap after making that assumption, is it not? Observe the drill team members slapping their rifle on exit and read about the discipline of SAC bomber crews and their precision of taking to the air.

  • @jabbadu431 Well sorry for questioning your general knowledge about the military, I can’t expect everybody to know every detail about every aspect of the DoD. Just trying to call to attention though the way the drill teams/honor guard do business. It is usually a slow tempo throughout from beginning to end. You can’t expect them to do this routine with great haste. That would look so stupid and unprofessional it would undo the whole show!

  • @DjAntomattei Well it depends on the routine. If you want to see a routine with a quick tempo that will blow you away, I would suggest the King's Guard of Hawaii as an example. But in the end, it simply boils down to the routine itself and the disciplines that are the focus of those drills. Some require a slow tempo, and others are of a more quick step. In the end, however, all are an homage to the discipline of our troops as I know you are emphasizing...and I completely agree with you.

  • at 1:46 it looks like they are passing down one rifle....that's awesome.

  • oooh...i feel sorry for anyone who would have dropped the rifle....damn

  • these guys are really pros at what they do and with 10 hrs a day of practice, heck ya!! But it really does get hot drilling in uniforms like that.

  • that was pretty awesome..but it kinda looked that some of them were off step..and that some of them were picking up their knees at one time and the others wernt..but other than that..awesome

  • The center guys picked their knees up because they were in half step which allows the formation to close in.

  • wow that was really cool, guy kept saying "badass a few too many times" but hey, it was badass. Eat your heart out Marine silent drill team

  • Actually quite nice. But I wouldn't want to be spinning an M1 with those jackets on.

  • No kidding! I'm in AFROTC and have a uniform similar to that (not QUITE that fancy)and I can attest to the fact that even simple things like bending over to tie a shoe or reaching for the salt or pepper on the table become outright challenges. How those guys did it, I'll never know.

  • I mean this in the most respectful way possible, but the AF dress uniform is not that hard to move around in. There isn't a belt to restrict rotation, the shoulders are not custom made to fit perfectly, so a little big by default. The only thing that could effect movement is if they were wearing shirt stays, but because of the jacket we'll never know.

  • Well there *is* a belt, but is no more restrictive than what you wear to hold up your pants...because thats what it does lol. Maybe you have had better luck with the uniform or something, because there are some motions that I find just plain hard to do. Ah well, you don't wear it everyday so its alright.

  • Actually, I do wear it several times a week...some days are for BDUs. I've also drilled in the USMC Dress Blue Jacket and since I can compare how restrictive they are, the USAF is extremely mobile. I guess since I have to perform a wide variety of motions in the AF jacket, I have learned/stretched the jacket to make movement easier.

  • yes we are wearing shirt stays and all of our blouses are custom.
