Good to know. I don't know if you visited also my web site, with thousand of picture of Greece, I'm not very interested to "party" but to nice places, quite, clean and with a clear water as I always found in Greece.
Do you also rent your house or do you go in August to Skopelos ?
Usually I rent a room with kitchen for my holidays. When I have been last year in greece I have been in 4 different houses the same in Crete.
I'm very far from such beaches, so you are luky you can driver there in less then two hours. It might be that next year I'll come to visit the Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonnisos and the other islands.

Scusa ... Si chiama Potistikà, la seconda è Melanì, la città è Volos e il paesino più vicino è Argalastì. La spiaggetta di cui parli dopo si chiama Paltsi e le isole che ti trovi di fronte sono Skiàtos la prima, con la meravigliosa scogliera di Lalària di fronte a te, seconda Skòpelos e terza la riserva marina di Alònissos .... ma non venite in agosto ... in maggio il Monte Pilio ha la fioritura nel pieno, il profumo delle ginestre, del timo è tutta un'altra cosa. grazie del commento, potessi venire in maggio. il lavoro mi impone le ferie "lunghe" in agosto. Venire solo per una settimana in Grecia, costa troppo. La penisola del Monte Pelion mi è piaciuta molto. Belle spiagge, per la maggior parte non affollate (con alcune eccezioni). Quest'anno si replica ma a Creta.

i am a citizen of volos and i love these two beaches! unfortunately i do not speak italian.
