@khyemamri LOL I remember when i snuck into a Suicide Machines show. It was in Indianapolis and they were playing with the Descendants. The security wouldnt let people in even though we had tickets because they claimed too many people were a fire hazard. So a shit load of people started a rumor about people sneaking in the back. Security ran to the back and a ton of us walked right in the front door.

yes, this is Suicide Machines in 1999 on a compilation album titled "Before You Were Punk Vol 2", covering the song originally done in 1980 by another great Detroit band called the Romantics.

I saw SM 2 days ago at a little place called the Trumbellplex in Detroit, they played an incredible 1 hour set to benefit the legal defense fund for a friend. It was incredible, first time i saw the band - hoping someone posts video from the set, it was flippin crazed, about 400 people crammed into a tiny space, moshing their asses off, truly awesome!!

yes, SM broke up a few years ago, but have played occassionally, including 2 shows on 11-5-09 to benefit a friend's legal defense fund. We were at the 1st of these shows at Trumbullplex, a Detroit art house. We kept the amps plugged in while stage-dancing fans crashed into them and used them to jump off into the mosh. The other SM show that night was at a Detroit bar named Old Miami. Search Youtube with "2009 11 05 Suicide Machines" to see some cool videos from these 2 shows,posted by "ddjr13".
