  • Hi Mike,

I'm totally flattered that you thought my "arrangement" worthy of your beautiful musicianship and hard work. You've done a brilliant job of it. My inspiration came from Dan Crary of course. I believe I do the second part where the fourth part should be and vice versa (according to a fiddle player friend of mine), but I prefer it this way. I also find this piece goes down really well at gigs. How does it work for you? I look forward to viewing your other posts now.

    Good luck, Chris M..

  • @MrVirgo54 Hey, I'm glad you saw this! I kind of randomly was looking to learn some kind of fiddle tune and I saw your video and thought I would transcribe it. Thanks for the lesson!

  • Great picking, Michael. Are you related to the famous Fiddlin' Charlie Bowman from East Tennessee.

Very nice sounding guitar also. What kind is it? Martin?

  • @anotherbowman Thanks a lot. I don't know if I am related to him (I'm not familiar with him), but I would guess so, I think the Bowmans around here are mostly descended from a man named George Bowman who settled in the Shenandoah Valley near 1720. I take it you're another Bowman?

The guitar is a Morgan Monroe, it is made in Japan

  • hey dude nice vid
