The misslefingers on 07 Starscream made an explicit appearance in the movie, while these stupid guns didn't. The Movie 1 Scream and the Leader Scream are undoubtedly the better ones.

I did the elbow and backpack fix on this figure, but I purchased Nebular Starscream instead of the original ROTF version because the color looks so much better with the tattoos on the K-mart exclusive. I think if you alter the figure, especially the elbows, you will change your mind a little bit. I think 7/10 is fair, but with the fixes you might go as high as 9/10. Personally, I give Nebular 8/10 in as a bot with fixes, and the same in alt because I am bothered by the fingers not folding in.

I respectfully disagree with the review. His concept ? Remember SS's airfight VS the human F22 squadron ? In robotmode he ripped through the human jets without mercy ; perfectly portraying SS's contempt for the humans. His wafer thin, wide body provides him a shape like a kite to do such slashing actions while flying in robot mode ; kinda like a flying squirrel leap/flies from tree to tree. Best voyager class toy so far imo. It looks like the Leader SS will be even better.

I love this starscream figure. The only thing I hate about TF action figures is that some of them are not proportion in terms of scale,like this starscream and some other voyager class figures.But still Im gonna buy it this wikend,'cuz its far more accurate than the 2007 starscream.

its an improvement, but the thing i HATED about the first movie voayer was the hands or cannons as hands.

this voyager is pretty good, but the arms suck ass, the legs are ok feet can be bigger. but he does have the bestmech alive out there.

the 4 figures you must have in my opinion is leader prime, starscream, sideswipe(A MUST) and sideways

Aesthetics is a very subjective thing. There should be no need to apologize for your own personal tastes...although there are fans who go on the defensive as soon as reviewers have any negative opinions on their beloved characters.

I passed up on the 1st LAM SS because I hated the proportions. Because of your 'hate' video I'm liking this ROTF SS even more : ) particularly the jet mode w/c was too bulky in the first one. Sale ngayon dito so I think it's worth it.

i still advise getting the first SS over this new one. perhaps wait na lang till the ROTF go on clearance before getting the new SS. BTW. there will be Wal-Mart exclusive repaints of the old SS mold--Skywarp and Ramjet. you might want to get those first before the ROTF SS. :-)

I'm with you on robot mode, what were they thinking! But I thought the first movie's Starscream was even worse. I only picked up Nightwatch Prime.

I really like this version and it was one of the highlights from the first wave. Mostly because I love planes and display him in that mode. But the transformation is also awesome! I just love how it folds part to form the robot.
