His altered attitudes has also surprised the peace movement in Germany, he was once in solidary with.
His former work was better!

Wow Kirki, your research in "more Info" about Biermann is well done!
But... just to prevent a misunderstanding: Eva-Maria Hagen was his former parter (in DDR time) & Nina Hagen is NOT his daughter.
And finally: Wolf Biermann's attitude towards involvement in wars changed. He advocated 1999 the Kosovo war of the NATO and 2003 the Iraq war by USA and its ally. Since 2000 Biermann is "chief culture-correspondent" of the conservative newspaper "Welt" (world), brought out by "Springer".

δεν είναι ανάγκη να πιστεύουμε οτι αυτό το τραγούδι είναι για την Ανατολική Γερμανία. Ας το ακούσουμε στο σήμερα.. Ας σκεφτούμε τι γίνεται στην Ελλάδα, τι γίνεται στην Κύπρο, τι γίνεται στην Δύση.... δεν μπορούμε να υποταχθούμε! Ξεσηκώνεται ο Λαός και Αντιδρά!
