Very nice, homer. This is a great video. I really like the narration; it adds a lot. I think narration is much nicer than text (which is what I do only). Hopefully, you will sprechen some deutsche (more than just "Guten Tag" on one of these videos so we can hear what a real German sounds like! Very nice video. I can't remember, but I think you told me already. Does emirates fly directly to Hamburg or no more?

Ya know, history and the news is always full of bad news. But until now that's what got recorded and remembered. Now with Homer we get to see how good the world can be from the point of view of a German flying on an Islamic airline, that gives the best service while jetting about the globe. I like Homer's (Our Homer's) Odyssey better than the orig. Our Homer gets nothing but the Sirens with none of the plundering and waring of the Greek orig. Thanks for sharing your good taste with us again!

Hi Homer how are you?Great video yet again,and makes us look forward even more to our EK flight from CDG to DXB.However Emirates has come in for a lot of criticism recently about falling standards of their cabin crew...look at the recent Skytrax Awards and related internet site.What do you think?Cheers,Neil

@carmes87 I dont think standards are generally "!falling". But they are not consistently as high as one would expect from EK. Food and beverages standards are as high as always. Crew attention is usually good..often very good..but if you have bad luck it might be "uninspired"; still then it would be better than most southern europena or latin airlines. If you have complaints - or if they are excellent: write a comment card!

Now, as a person who has flown and experienced EK's lounges and service, in your opinion is DXB's lounges better than that in Hamburg or anywhere else you have tried? How early before the flight can you visit the lounge? Do they have dedicated lounges in FRA, DUS and MUC?

@hmasurg Thank you for your nice comments. Yes, they have dedicated lounges in FRA, MUC and DUS, too. I like to DXB lounge too..everything is bigger and more there..although i prefer the more elegant, cool club athmosphere of the EK longes; a new vid on the T3 lounge will be posted soon.
